Great place

Mostly younger population when we were there. Tables are close together so intimate discussions may be a challenge. Majority were playing cards or visiting. Don’t be in a hurry.

Cocktail Workshop: A great date night
Dec 2019
I purchased the cocktail workshop as a surprise date night gift for my husband. We had never been to Norseman before and really no idea what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised!! Our host and cocktail maker extrodaire, Ellen, was fantastic. There was an upbeat vibe and the space was nice and felt very private. For the money, they are VERY generous with the amount of alcohol you consume, and the jungle juice they provide is delicious. I would highly recommend this experience if you are looking for a fun night out. Plan to stick around and enjoy another cocktail from the bar too- the space is beautiful. Just plan for a Lyft or Uber!!!

A nice distillery with good cocktails and a nice selection of spirits
Jun 2019 • Friends
We enjoy visiting the craft distilleries in Minnesota and found this one very pleasant. We sat outside and received very good service. They have an interesting cocktail list and we enjoyed the ones we ordered. They don't serve food but there is a food truck on site. The only annoying thing is that they don't answer their phone but have a message to text or email them. I had a credit card issue after leaving the cocktail room and was unable to reach them, by phone or text or email. All were unanswered.

An Amazing Distillery!

Gotta love when a business refurbishes an old warehouse, yet is loyal to green practices, and even grows all their own herbs n spices! Great vibe and even better drinks. Very creative. Great place for a group or just 2.

Cool atmosphere, but slow service, pricey drinks, and blaring music
Jan 2019 • Friends
I was really disappointed with this place. I had heard good things about it and decided to go with a couple of my friends last night. The only nice thing I have to say about it was that the atmosphere was nice--it's in an old, repurposed warehouse building, which is cool.

Maybe part of it was due to the fact that it was super busy when we were there, but the service was REALLY SLOW and BAD. It took 10 minutes after we were seated before anyone came to take our drink orders and then another 20 minutes before we finally got our drinks. Drinks were SUPER SMALL and expensive, so it wasn't really a good deal (most drinks were around $12 or $13 plus tax), and they were just okay--nothing to write home about. Then, another 30 minutes went by before our waiter asked if we wanted to get another round of drinks, and then we had to wait even longer before we were able to finally get our bill. It was $64 for 5 tiny, mediocre cocktails.

ALSO, THE MUSIC WAS SUPER LOUD. I've never been to a place that's played music that loud before, but I feel like I have hearing loss now after being there. I don't know what they're thinking turning the volume up that high, but my eardrums literally hurt and me and my friends had to lean in and shout at the top of our lungs the whole time we were trying to talk and we STILL couldn't hear one another. It was just really bad. Maybe it was just an off night for them, but I don't know if I'll be back.

This is a great place for groups to go and mingle or singles go to be seen.
The atmosphere is very cool and their sprits are fine, along with an outstanding
menu.

Cool bar!
Nov 2018 • Friends
We went there because I am Norwegian, and visited Minneapolis.

This bar has its own destillery, and makes their own Aquavit. The two versions are a bit different from the Norwegian style. However, the both of them was quite well made. One had a tadte of dill, and the other one a flavour with a distinctive cardemum. This one was also the bade for my tip for the Norwegian national drink - «Fjellbekk (=Mountain Creek)».

Try both the bar and the drink, you’ll love’em both!!!

This place is great, lots of different drinks to try and good food to eat. The staff is very friendly and engaging to talk to. They are quick to refill your water or get you another drink. Easy laid back atmosphere.

Great atmosphere
Oct 2017 • Couples
Enjoyed much more than Tattersall which gets all the hype. Beautiful place, suitable for date night with fireplaces and candles lit. Also have small plates/snacks. Cocktails interesting.
