Staff was amazing!

They have a full bar with lots of great, fun wines (not one in a box!). The staff was great! We had a small event there and couldn't have been more happy. One of the owners was there too who gave us a lot of attention! Thank you Note: they do have Heggie's pizza (always good!), maybe a hot dish ( which we didn't try) but not a lot of food options. The have a variety of beers too!
Can't wait to stop by this weekend for Art-A-Whirl!!

Interesting for sure
Loud and crowded but bun as hell. Good service with great people this is not a fancy place but overall is a really cool place to wet your whistle

Classic Dive bar!

I stopped in here briefly for a beer before having dinner at Hai Hai. It's a great little dive bar! With so many being renovated or converted, it's great that you still find a few like this. It's small with maybe 8 booths, a few tables and seating at the bar for maybe 15 but service was great, people were friendly, I would definitely go back.

Avoid at all costs

Despite multiple positive reviews of this place I can't begin to state how awful this bar is. I live in North Mpls and this is the one place that I avoid at all costs. Why? The service sucks (they call it Grumpy's for a reason), the beer selection is not all that great despite what others may say, and the only food they serve is frozen pizza? This is a dive bar and not a good one. Unless of course you are among the hipster elite. Si I guess if you wear the same flannel shirt, grow the same beard, and dress like everyone else you can show how "hip" you are by going here but there's about 8 other bars within walking distance that I'd give higher ratings to. I'll never go to this place again and suggest you stay away. There are plenty of better things to see in Mpls.
