I went to a subscription concert for the Minnesota Orchestra. (Disclaimer; My husband is also a symphony musician so I went to see some of his acquaintances play.) This is a first class orchestra and the hall is very beautiful. You feel quite close to...More
I don't think there is a bad seat in the place! We ended up with seats in the back row balcony and the show was spectacular. Acoustics were great and the musicians heart and sould could still be felt.

We really enjoyed our time at the Minnesota Orchestra. It is a beautiful venue. Go early sometimes they have local beer brewers and you can sample their beers. Also take advantage of the happy hour prices.
Saw 'Russian Nights' performance on Friday, February 17th. The venue is well worth seeing and, on this particular evening, the show was a great value. Encore piano performance of Rachmaninoff by Behzod Abduraimov. He is truly talented.
Went to see Vocal Essence Underground Railroad and it was wonderful. The first half was a tad slow for me but the second half was amazing. I used to sign spirituals in Jr. High and some of this brought me back home. The hall was...More
