Very nice venue.

Nice place to hear a concert. Room to get up and dance if the music moves you. There are seats available. Productions were very good. Really enjoyed Codesweat Entertainment.

It's a bandshell that's not only beautiful to look at, but projects sound beautifully. Most of the performances at the bandshell are free to the public. The best secret though is the... More

I think what makes this band shell unique is the seating. I have seen band shells in other cities and this one was really designed to maximize the comfort of those attending the performances. Parkbench seating, concession stands, all overlooking the lake with boats, ducks and lots of trees.

This place has something going almost every night of the summer. It is a joyful place to stop and get something to drink or eat. The actual "dining" food is quite good. The ice cream comes in large portions and is good. The actual bandshell allows for a large crowd to sit and enjoy AND is set up so one... More

Watched some wonderful music. There was art for sale and I didn't have any money so I used the ATM at the food place and bought the most beautiful painting.

The concerts start on Memorial Day and run through Labor Day. This year there are concerts every day except Wednesdays. There are two concerts on Sunday. There is a wide variety of concerts- some of the bar-band type and some from the MN Orchestra and Mpls Pops Orchestra, some reggae, brass bands, etc. Parking is scarce so if you want... More

The area is well maintained and beautifully landscaped. The band shell is large and there is plenty of seating to enjoy the music. It is a great place to walk along the water and people watch.

The Lake Harriet Bandshell has numerous entertainment offerings during the summer evenings. We attended recently to hear the Minneapolis Orchestra perform several pieces including Star Wars. It was a very nice summer day in Minnesota. The bandshell does have a good number of bench seats available in front of the banshell, but they can fill up quickly, so you should... More

Visiting from Wisconsin and enjoyed one of the free concerts in the parks with the Minneapolis Pops Orchestra. Beautiful setting with the lake behind the band. Ample seating with park benches with backs. Sound was well done as well.
