Lovely park in the summer

Some summer activities are often organised in Loring Park. The park is not huge and great for walking around. It has ponds that connected to each other. Not for swimming though... read more

Great time in December to go see a cool park with lights and fireworks. I enjoyed it as an activity for Christmas

This park is nice for a brisk walk, a gentle stroll or visit w a friend at one of the many benches. We passed through from our hotel headed to the Lake of the Isles. The fountains were beautiful and the various ponds of water were so pretty. Take the time to "smell the roses" so to speak.

Loring Park is a beautiful inner-city park just outside of the central downtown area. On a lovely summer day it cannot be beat. It could even be lovely on a sunny winter day. There are meandering sidewalks, a pond and there is a lot to see. The apartment residences that surround the park are lovely. If you are staying in... More

Walking around the small lakes and through the gardens of Loring Park is a fabulous break from the bustle of the city. I love seeing the ducks, squirrels, rabbits and variety birds that call the park home.

Some summer activities are often organised in Loring Park. The park is not huge and great for walking around. It has ponds that connected to each other. Not for swimming though. The park is allowing dogs with leashed but there is a special area for dog with gate for letting your dog plays around without leash. There is a swimming... More

We went for a walk from the Hilton to the Hyatt with a friend, and discovered a walkway behind the Hyatt. Lots of greenery and sidewalks, shade, flowers and fountains. Then you come to the actual park with a small lake, playground, basketball court, etc. Very scenic and a breath of fresh air just blocks from downtown. Many nice residences... More

Loring park can be accessed by the loring greenway. The greenway is a beautiful path with both landscape and hardscape features. Bikes and pedestrians both seem to be welcomed. Great for walking or running! The greenway is wide enough to easily accommodate strollers. There is enough foot traffic on the greenway during the day that I felt comfortable being there... More

This has become a more family friendly urban park as new housing has reclaimed an area that was in decline a couple of decades ago, when I first knew it. We had a delightful time during a recent art fair.

Not the largest park, but a good bet for a nice run or ride. Cross the bridge over to Walker Arts Center as well.

Loring Park is a perfect place to walk through on your way to the Walker Art Center or to stroll around, There is a wading pool, fantastic fountains, and great people watching. It can be very dangerous at night, so I would avoid it after the sun goes down.
