Loring Park is a perfect place to walk through on your way to the Walker Art Center or to stroll around, There is a wading pool, fantastic fountains, and great people watching. It can be very dangerous at night, so I would avoid it after the sun goes down.

Park is nice, just across the bridge from sculpture park. They had a neat little festival for Christmas when we went, had some food, Ice skating rink and could buy ornaments n things.

We had a very pleasant early morning walk through the park and around the Loring lake. We could see many birds chirping and floating on the lake water. There were many exotic flowers. This park was also being use by office goers. There are benches spread all over the park. Very soothing place.

Like many parks, it could use better restroom facilities. The park is easily accessible from the main roads and we readily found parking just one block away. Great... More

I really loved this park. Sweet place to hang out and read a book or just rest and take in the beauty.

I live just off Loring Park and spend a lot of time at the Basilica of St. Mary across the way, so I spend a lot of time walking through the park on my way there, as well as walking my 2 dogs. There is a great dog park that never seems crowded and I love to see the squirrels... More

It was nice as always they are moving the Walker Art Center statues but we still walked across the footbridge over 35 the Basilica is always nice to see. Duck galore and great weather. We saw a white squirrel, Wood ducks, Mallards and sparrows.

Wow! I lived adjacent to the park in 1968. It was inexpensive then. Now it is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Minneapolis and way out of my budget! Nonetheless, I love the park. Check the event schedule. I particularly enjoy the Gay Pride Festival in July. Parking can be difficult, go to the city lot adjacent to the... More

What a lovely park in the middle of downtown. Stayed at Double Tree Suites walked here one morning. I think the animals most be hand fed as the squirrels and birds came right up to us. Nice and relaxing with water, geese, ducks, birds and an albino squirrel!
