We saw the HOR location while on a walk in our neighborhood. We thought this would be a great opportunity to bring our 6 year old grandson since he is a huge train nut! Lucky for us we caught them open their last weekend in April (as they are only open Sept - April). We were not disappointed as the place was loaded with trains and miniature villages, towns, you name it. The best part was the folks working / volunteering their. They were kids at heart and took our grandson around and showed him all the tunnels, and train types. It was so great to look at all the pieces and pretend a bit too. I highly recommend this place for families of all ages.

A visit to this HO-guage model railroad exhibit will be well worth your time. This is a very large operating layout built by guys who obviously know what they are doing, with several long trains running simultaneously in and out of mountains, around river banks, through tunnels and across bridges, through tiny villages, and into large rail yards. The level of detail and the complexity of the track layout are amazing. I think everyone, from small kids to grandpa and grandma, will be entertained by this wonderful display. But check web site for operating times. Small admission fee is charged, but well worth it.
