So we toured Lake Calhoun by Segway the lake is beautiful with many beach areas, walking paths, and bicycle trails. We rented segways from Evolve Segway. After getting fitted with the proper safety equipment and instruction we were sent on our way with maps. Great time. We wil do this again but with more time

My son and I rented a canoe at Lake Calhoun. We had a great afternoon of paddling to three lakes. There are quiet causeways to canoe with bridges overhead. We canoed near otters, ducks and geese. There are beautiful homes on the lakes and a few beaches. This is a quiet, peaceful water area in the midst of city. I... More

A 3.4 trail around this beautiful city lake. Great for picnics, bikes, or sleeping in the grass! If you are up to it, Lake, Harriet, Lake Calhoun and Lake of the Isles are all connected with a total trail of 10 miles. Beautiful and scenic all the way!

Just enjoyable to ride a bike on the path around the lake. And then head off on another path for another lake. Wonderful side paths all around.

My wife and I have been walking this lake since 1986 when we were in high school. It's just a perfect distance, the paths are great, beaches are great, and people from all walks enjoy with us. Love it!

I have walked around Lake Calhoun many times in my 28 years of living in Minneapolis area. When I first moved here it was the place to be seen. The view of the Lake is pretty and peaceful. Mostly a flat walk but it does have a few small hills. Lake Calhoun has always been a place to run around... More

As I indicated in previous review, we love the lake and bike around it often, nice restaurant , Tin Fish at pavillion the connection to other lakes makes a great 15 mile trail or you can sopt to do one or two lakes at half that distance. Love the sailboats on the lake , a real gem in the city

We love sitting somewhere near the lake to watch the multitude of eclectic people. It is also a great place to watch the planes come in. It can sometimes be smelly just from the surrounding ponds.
