with the mall being under construction it is alittle difficult to get it a fair rating, but being knowable about the upcoming changes and the condition the mall was in before construction I am looking forward to the completion, so be overlook the process it is going under and prepare to enjoy the new mall

. . . I'm tired of trying to drive in downtown Minneapolis. If you've ever been there you know what I mean. Take a bus or bike or light rail or if you have to drive in downtown Minneapolis I hope your GPS takes into account bus lanes, bus streets, bike lanes, light rail routes, road construction, no cars allowed... Decent place to hang around for people watching when the weather is nice, not so great when it's cold. If you like shopping the bigger chain stores, this place has them. If you like shopping local, this may not be to your liking.

When you say mall to a woman, this is not what we expect. It was a let down. Needs more main stream store line up and more activities. Except for bars and restraints, it shuts down at dark.

Found the area, people, restaurants and public houses all of a very high quality. All members of staff were very helpful and answered all of our questions with honesty and couldn't wish to meet nicer people.

Used to be, the Nicollet Mall attracted shoppers and tourists, and some restaurant-goers. Typical of government planning, the Mall has been torn up and closed to bus and pedestrian traffic for many months, with no end in sight. It's going to be "upgraded", doncha know ? Pathetic.

The original Nicollet Mall can still be identified in the midst of vast construction which is going on 2016-2017. There are still nice corridors and on very hot or cold days, it is nice to view indoors. This history goes back to turning the city into an indoor shopping area and the original design was a trendsetter. Trees added a... More

Lots of choices, skywalk and connections from hotels to stores. If you are in Minneapolis for a few days then do some shopping here.

I'd have to say that the skywalks to shopping (very convenient in October when it's a little chilly) to stay out of the elements and away from traffic is nice. The mall is open with a good selection of quality stores and food eateries. Nice place to spend a few hours if you killing time.
