We wanted to visit downtown Minneapolis before going to a Twins game on Sunday, 5/20. Very disappointed as nothing was open. Our itinerary was pretty much determined by transit schedule. Northstar train only ran from Big Lake to Minneapolis at 9:30 am or noon. Commute...More

I was attending a very busy conference but on the last day, my coworkers and I made it the teeny little Mary Tyler Moore statute. It had been removed last year--something to do with the new football stadium, but there was Mary in all her...More

We walked around Nicollete Mall on a Wednesday late afternoon...wasn't crowded and not too chilly (late March). We found the Mary Tyler Moore statue , welcome center/souviner shop and many other shops and restaurants.

This is a quaint an old-school street in the middle of downtown with lots of stores and some restaurants or you can hang out and walk around and it’s cool when the weather is nice

They spent 2+ years re-building the Mall. The entire time the buses and cabs were re-routed. They have re-opened the newly rebuilt street. Unfortunately the buses and taxis are back. They make walking, shopping and in the spring, alfresco dining, a wholly unpleasant experience. Minneapolis...More

What a blast! Lots of friendly and helpful crew 52! Also willing to take pictures. Many different activities! Lots of free stuff. Enjoy US Bank and NFL store!

The Mall was shut down for construction for two years in which most of the key restaurants and shops closed. The millions of dollars that were spent seemed to evaporate into boring design. They attempted to get it open for the Super Bowl and had...More

I know it was dressed up for Superbowl week, but this place was so much fun to hang out in, even in the cold. Loved all the activities and things to look at. Place was packed. Not sure what it is like at other times.

Micollet mall was a very nice place to walk around and do some shopping. It was really enhanced with all the Super Bowl activities and the center of all the action which was an extra bonus.

The statue was temporarily removed while the street was under construction. She's back on 7th and Nicollet now!

We've been there as early as 10:45 and things seemed to be open. If you have a specific destination in mind, I suggest you google their website.
