We had some spare time in Minneapolis so we took the light rail over to the East Bank area. The campus is huge and it is very impressive. We had a nice time strolling around the area.

If you have not been to Canada. Minnesota and University of Minnesota can fulfill that desire. I spent several hours during winter visiting all the parts of the campus. The campus looks nice during rain.

Though not a gopher fan we enjoyed the weekend at our Grandson's graduation. Vibrant campus and friendly folks (many of the students are from Wisconsin so that helps!). We enjoyed student watching at his frat house. Interesting!

Our daughter is a second year student at the U, and we enjoy visiting as often as we can. Not only do the students get a great, diverse education, but the campus is wonderful.

I stayed in a AirBnB accommodation in Dinky Town for about 20 days. That was the lowest priced stay I have ever had in all these 4 years of my visits to UoM. The Commons is the best ,of course if price is not an issue... More
