It has a relaxed, neighborhood feel, and like everyone else said, the best popcorn! It's a guilt-free pleasure if you're on a budget. Last fall we went for "The Sound of Music" sing-along. People in costumes! Interactive vibe! We had a blast. Low cost for a very fun night.

The price is right at the riverview theatre! If you don't mind waiting to see a movie until it has been out a few months this is the place to go. $2 matinees!!! Seats are comfy and snacks are priced right too!!! Perfect place to bring the kids to the movies without breaking the bank!!!

I first went to the Riverview for a local short film contest that a friend was a part of - since then, I've gone many times for movies! Their prices are great - just remember to bring cash, or they have an ATM. They show recent movies that have just left theaters, but the theater is large, comfortable, and has... More

This is a discounted movie theater, with an upscale vibe, that shows movies on its single screen that have just left the main theaters. I have driven 15 miles out of the way to watch a recent movie, or a classic (during a film festival), with a bag of delicious popcorn (trust me - the best), with other individuals who... More

I first went to the Riverview to see Rocky Horror Picture Show (unsure if that's an event done here anymore), and the immaculate state of decor was hard not to stop and stare at. It's like walking back in time going through those doors - not just because of the design, but the REAL butter on the popcorn that wasn't... More

This place has been around forever, and for good reason. They show a wide range of movies that are on their way out of theaters and often times show the classics. I went by myself once and for $9 got the movie ticket, medium popcorn, and medium soda - if that's wrong, then I don't want to be right. An... More

Having lived within a few miles of this theater many years ago, I went there often and still try to go when in the area and have the time for a movie. Of all the places I can go to a movie, this is my favorite.

This is one of my favorite movie theaters in Minnesota. It has such a fun retro vibe! Great mix of new releases and classics for $3 a film. If THAT's not cheap enough for you, they also have $2 Tuesdays. Concessions are reasonable and the seats are comfy. Grab a glass of wine at the wine bar across the street... More
