A must see if you are in MN! Beautiful visitor center, lots of education and beautiful scenary! Lake Itasca is a gorgeous park with plenty to do!

Brother in law had never been so we all camped in our pop-up and had a nice time. Fun to see and you can walk across in the rocks as well as some logs. Pole marks the spot for great photo op.

Clean, safe environment. Lunches available in cafe. Gift store. Much information is placed around the area to explain the history of the headwaters. Great hiking trails. Family friendly. We went as a couple as we ha not done this since our children were small. Lovely!

I am afraid I don´t know. I traveled there from Wisconsin by car and drove to Fargo, North Dakota, after having seen the headwaters.

Agree will others, it doesn't matter. Park isn't that large & there are signs stating where to go depending on what you would like to see.
