We have gone out to the candy store for years to bring home their pies. However, this is the first time we noticed the crust is different. Has anyone else found that to be the case? We feel they either are using a different recipe then Jim used for years and taught each of his grandchildren or they are using less quality ingredients that give a subpar product. We were disappointed is an understatement. Don't get me wrong, the store is wonderful with the wide variety of candy and decor plus the puzzles and soda and canned goodies are amazing. Its just the pie crust isn't the same as it was and well, when a pie is excellent, one shouldn't change the crust recipe because its the crust that makes or breaks a pie every time!

We had a great time and bought all kinds of candy that we don't really see anymore at other places. I couldn't get over how big it was. We also bought a pie there. It was so good.

First off my children had the best time of their lives. They got to pick out their own candy. The place is a bit crowded so you have to keep your children close. I would go here again only when there aren't much people inside.

My husband and I took our 2 nephew’s (ages 3 & 5) here today, and It was the most stressful experience- and not because of the children. - The pace is so packed with adults, who trampled over the children nonstop, with no regard. - You are in very narrow spaces with no social distancing ( back to back & front to front). So much for safety precautions during this pandemic. - There was no time to actually stop and scoop out the candy and products, because the heavy traffic flow pushed you to keep moving- unreal I was honestly surprised that they would allow that many people in at once, and I am not even all that crazy about social distancing, which goes to say a lot! Parents/ Aunties & uncles/ grandparents, if you want to take children there AND ACTUALLY ENJOY YOURSELVES, I’d recommend going there on a Monday morning the moment it opens. I hope the owner sees this review, and they do not have a number to call and speak to a manager.

Heaven on Earth for anyone with a sweet tooth. It's an amazing store. Isles and isles of various types of candy and food. When we walked in, I stood there gawking, then immediately grabbed a basket and started loading up. The artwork, large models and mechanical band all add to the magic. We bought $100 of items and as soon as we left, I wanted to go back. A really fun experience!
