It was this Jan 20th weekend in 2001 and I had a break from work in Thunder Bay. So I dragged my son then 23 and we drove down to Duluth and up to Hibbing. Zimmy's was open, and BoB Dylan drive was still 7th. The exhibition at the Library was surreal. Great trip. The only bummer was all the... More

We just drove by. It's just a house . He only lived there as a very young boy. The town of Hibbing is a lovely place to explore. Try the Hull/Rust Mine largest open pit mine viewing and it's free. Spectacular views. Many other things to see in this old mining town. The architecture on some of the old buildings... More

Because we live up north, when we visit Hibbing, we always enjoy being able to drive friends by Dylan's house. It is a cool home and everyone enjoys just seeing where Dylan spent his years growing up.

If you are in Hibbing, drive by Dylan's childhood house. It's easy to find and no big deal. I wonder if he ever drives by?

Because Bob Dylan grew up there I wanted to see the house. You can not go on the property, but you can take a picture of the place.

It's actually a cool house, however I would have loved to be able to see the album painted on the garage. Not sure why they decided to paint over that, oh well, it's not my house. It's not like you can get a tour or anything of this house but for some reason, just sitting in front of it on... More

If you are a Dylan fan, this is worthy of a brief stop to take a picture, but the truth is that it is just a house, and in fact, the mural once painted on the garage no longer exists.

There's not really anything to see, not even a plaque and no signs or directions to get there. The street has been renamed in his honor however. The front hedges are grown up offering privacy to the owners. It was still a fun experience to walk where Dylan walked.

The house is now on a street named after Dylan- but there is not much to see. If you are in the area, have a look. But I would not make a detour for it myself. My husband would though...

Kind of a non-descript house with overgrown shrubs. I think it's someone's home, so you can only see it from the outside. If you like Bob Dylan, it's worth a look.
