Although only a few blocks long, the Historic Downtown of Hastings is a great place to poke around. It has some great antique stores and restaurants. The frontage street has been recently worked on, so there is easy parking.

My wife and I go down here quite often. It's a great place for sights as wells as food and antique shops. Nice family atmosphere. Great place to see the Hastings car show all summer long

This little square of restored architecture was pretty quiet on a Saturday night. Local owned businesses; not sure opening and closing times. The street construction did not make it pedestrian friendly.

Great choice of restaurants, cute shops, too many antique shops, though! Excited for the Spiral brewery to open next year!

The parking in downtown is fairly open except for on a Friday or Saturday night. Easily walkable area with shops for various interests. Some of the buildings are old (1800s to early 1900s) and have great architecture which is nice to see preserved.

Hastings is an old town and was 1 of the older towns in the state. It has historic value and a few things to see and do. There are antique shops, places to eat, a great car show every other Saturday during the summer months. The Mississippi River flows through here. A nice, clean town and quite scenic. The "when... Set on the Mississippi river with steel bridges and river walks and plenty of antique shops, but... More

We stopped at the Busted Nut after looking in a few other stores and enjoyed interaction with all the clerks in all the stores.
