This is a very enjoyable experience. The group that'll runs this cave put a lot of work into keeping the whole facility in great shape.

The cave discovery and formation stories are quite interesting...I will not spoil them here. The underground water flow that continues to shape this cave is the star of the show with its waterfalls. There are a number of unique formations, numerous fossils captured/exposed in the rock, and several "rooms" in which the ceiling is over 100 feet over your head. It is a beautiful and interesting cave...well worth a visit.

The tour checks in at just a little over a mile. There are strenuous aspects to the tour, so if you have health limitations you may want to rethink your visit. There are roughly 550 stairway steps included in the tour. Most of the steps are in smaller manageable groups, but there is a set of 20-25 right at the end that would be a challenge to anyone with health issues. To their credit, the tour guides will stop to allow guests to recover from harder climbs.

This facility also includes a really nice gift shop, a well-kept mini golf course (in a lovely wooded/shaded area), a couple of picnic areas, and a playlet for small kids. With a little planning you could certainly make a very nice day trip and enjoy all that this facility has to offer.

You will want to check on their current COVID regulations. Currently they are not allowed to mix groups for tours. The cost (with taxes) is roughly $180 per tour and up to 9 people can be in the tour. Once the regulations allow, you will only need to pay individual entrance fees.

The cave tour was well worth the trip to Harmony. The tour guide, Adison, was knowledgeable of about the cave and formations. The tour was longer than most cave tours we have been on in the past and they did a good job handling multiple groups in the cave at once. Sometimes had to stand to one side to let an exiting group pass. No issues with that. Reserved tour online, we did arrive an hour early and they bumped us up to an earlier time slot to accommodate walkins later. Tour took 1.25 hours

Good trip. We arrived at approximately 9:45 am and made our way towards the entrance of the building to check in for our tour. We had to buy our tour tickets ahead of time on their website, and were told to show up 15 minutes prior to the tour start time. The tour started promptly at 10 am, and the tour guide gave us an introduction of the cave, while guiding us down the stairs. She gave us a heads up that there were over 500 stairs throughout the cave, however, the stairs were spaced out, and did not provide much of a challenge for us. The cave was unique and contained many twists and turns throughout and the tour guide did a great job explaining what we were seeing in front of us. There were multiple wet spots throughout the cave, as well as water dripping from the ceiling. There were several unique aspects of this cave, including an underground waterfall and a makeshift chapel. There was a gift shop inside the main building, along with a mini golf course outside and several picnic tables.

Tip: The entire tour lasted roughly an hour and fifteen minutes.

The cave was very, very cool. The adults in our group one and all found it fascinating...and we don’t all usually agree on this kind of thing. Our tour guide Sam was most excellent and knowledgeable...and super patient, even though the 3 & 4 year-olds with us were less than well-behaved.

On that note: the kiddies DID love it—between temper tantrums. By this point in our day trip, they were worn out and had not had a chance to nap. If we’d gone earlier in the day, they’d have been angelic (maybe). They mainly were whining to be carried...which was very difficult (though not impossible) in some parts due to low ceilings & narrow passageways. It wasn’t possible to separate from the group, so the rest of our poor tour had to listen to the whinging. Sorry guys!

That being said, they kept talking about the cave for the rest of the day!

I've been to this Cave on two different trips. This is the perfect family trip to take with kids. The tour doesn't feel rushed, the guides are very patient making sure you get plenty of photos and stops along the way to catch your breath if you must. We really didn't need jackets due to humidity of the Cave, it felt like it was in the 60's temp-wise. The kids loved panning for their own gems and the store has lots of nic-nacks to choose from for the adults. The mini-golf and park on site along with picnic tables gives a great location to enjoy a lunch or dinner during your stay. The Cave is gorgeous and well worth the trip to see!!!

We had a fantastic time this weekend! We were lucky to have literally nothing planned for the day and spent a few hours at Niagara Cave. From the gift shop, cave tour, mini golf and mining, our 5 and 8 year old enjoyed the entire experience. Our 8 year old enjoyed it so much, he wants to work at the cave.

Awesome tour that was fast and efficient. Had plenty of time for questions and answers. I appreciated the well behaved children on our tour. Also did the tour at nearby Mystery Cave which did not show us as much as the guide did at Niagara Cave. Neither tour is for small toddlers at nap time. It’s kind of one way and you can’t just leave in the middle. Guide at Niagra was outstanding.

This is a well-organized and superbly managed cave and park. It is ideal for families, couples, and nature lovers to enjoy. The waterfall in the cave is quite sizable and pristine. They have great maintenance of the platforms and walkways in the cave.

We just loved the cave and our guide. Totally fascinating. The number of steps they highlight is not too bad, as they are spread out. Guide was informative and patient- allowing us enough time to take in this amazing place. Also loved the selection of stone artifacts and items in the gift shop.

This tour, even though expensive as they are only taking private tours because of Covid, was amazing! Our guide was Dorothy and she was very knowledgeable and excellent with young children. The hiking was easy going and we learned a lot about the cave. The falls inside the cave is a must see.
