The fact that everything here is operational just makes it that much better. One of the best collections I have seen outside the official military museums. They have things I have never seen: the Cushman scooter; compact bulldozer for glider transport. The main attraction are the planes and they do not disappoint. 2 P40's in unique paint of desert and... More

The museum has an unbelievable collection of vintage aircraft and other displays. 3 very clean airport hangars are full of beautifully restored and operational planes that tell a great story from the WWII era. A must see attraction and well worth the $10 donation fee!

Visitors of all ages can not only learn about, but if they allow themselves, can gain a "feel" for what the Greatest Generation experienced during World War II. The four hangars contain planes used for various purposes as the was progressed. As impressive as these are, the huge murals, displays of memorabilia, and stories shared by survivors deepened my understanding.... More

The Fagen family wants to share their collection of WW II airplanes--but unlike most museums, these airplanes all FLY! They are accessible as well--not hidden behind ropes--you can get right up to them. Included are TWO P-51s, one of the nicest B-25s you'll ever see, a rare P-38 Lightning, a Grumman Wildcat, PT-26 and PT-19 trainers, and a number of... More

Visiting the WWII museum was one of the main purposes of my visit to Granite Falls. I was very happy with my visit. There are huge mural dioramas(perhaps 25 x 100 feet) depicting the D Day invasion with a 3D sculpture of troops arriving on the beach. There are several buildings of planes and military vehicles. There are also WWII... More

Granite Falls is a very small town. I didn't know exactly what to expect from this museum. It was very powerful. The exhibits were great. Many planes are displayed, most are able to still fly. Other exhibits feature d-day and the holocaust. It is a very moving experience. It was very clean and well done. The staff was very kind... More

We visited the Fagen Fighters WWII Museum in Granite Falls, MN, yesterday with the members of the Southwest Metro Mustang Club, and had a great time. The museum is a definite go to place for anyone who is an aviation fan or WWII buff. The museum is well laid out, and has 4 main hanger/halls to walk through. As a... More

Amazing to find this collection of WWII planes and vehicles in small town Granite Falls! If you're lucky, you'll catch a mini air show too!

The Fagen family has built a beautiful museum. There are lots of WWII planes and ground vehicles to see. The walls are full of artifacts and stories. There was even a place where my kids could watch cartoons from that era. My kids are 5 & 7 and both loved seeing the different planes and vehicles. Most of the planes... More
