This is a beautiful waterfall to see. It is an easy hike to get to amazing views. There is a nice visitor center as well. The trail is handicapped accessible as well, which is nice for people that break their ankle prior to visiting. ;)

The trip to the falls is well worth it if you are in the area. Very, very scenic....there are a couple of overlooks....well worth your time....we liked these falls so well we additionally did the longer, more strenuous hike to Middle Falls.

These falls are breathtaking. I'm in awe every time I see them. It's a bit of a haul getting up there, but well worth the trip.

The portage falls is right off of 61 on the Minnesota side of the border. You can see the border patrol/crossing from the entrance of the park. You do not cross into Canada.

We are a fee free park as we are rest area parking, pets are allowed on the trail as long as they remain on a leash, service animals only are allowed inside the building.
