Beautiful falls! Hike to get there was short- less than .5 miles. Trail was fairly flat, had some rocks and boards (over low ground) so is not totally accessible. Worth the drive- maybe 10 minutes from Ely.

Great place to stop if in Ely. The falls and topography are beautiful. Only thing was a little strange is the concrete dam behind the waterfall. Otherwise very nice short trail. When we arrived, the trail was recently sprayed for either weeds/bugs but there were...More

This trail is just outside of Ely and worth the drive. We visited in the early evening and were the only people there. Interesting trees and flowers along the trail. The falls are beautiful and you can walk out along the large boulders nearby.

When you want a short but interesting woodland hike this is just the ticket. Trail is well marked through interesting wooded area to get to the falls which is impressive with lovely views. Great for a picnic hike, birding, and finding wild flowers.

We brought the kids here to see the falls and they had a great time. It was such a great site and the hiking was pretty easy but also challenging at times

Trail head was a little difficult to find (maybe because we had three people with different ideas of which turn to take!) The trail is well marked, but could be a little confusing in places. The falls was amazing! Such a powerful force! The information...More

Loved it here!! Well worth the 1 1/2 mile roundtripwalk. Will definitely be going back when in the area.

This was a nice short trail up to the falls. The falls did not disappoint. The volcanic rock was very cool and slippery! There were many spots to sit and take in the view. The kids explored the little water holes and found fish! The...More

Learned about this in a passing conversation with a local person, and decided to take the short hike. So glad we did - there had baan a lot of rain and the falls were roaring. Hike was a little muddy, but worth it. Nice signage...More

Yes, but it's dirt and not all level. Could get crowded and hard to get out with alot of cars. I wouldn't take our 40ft coach there.

Take highway 169 north to its end where it turns into Fernberg Trail Road then a couple of miles look for sign to the falls trail on the left. Total distance from Ely is about 5 miles.
