It is a great educational experience! The ranger/instructor talked about wolves and we learned a great deal about these beautiful animals. We also were able to watch the wolves in a natural habitat -- they had adults and young wolves. The museum was also excellent.

Although we were hesitant about how interesting this place would be once we got to see the wolves, we were really glad we came. Seeing the wolves was a highlight but the exhibits and talks are fascinating and well done. Don't miss the video about dogs and how they relate to wolves.

A lot to read and view in terms of education. Be sure to inquire about their additional programs that may lead to more sightings and interaction with the wolves. We did the "what's for dinner" on Saturday night and it was very enjoyable.

I had high hopes visiting this venue as I was excited to see live, wild wolves. It was more a wolf museum with some interesting displays. Yes there were wolves, one visible, sleeping with another couple you had to get down on one knee and tilt your head sideways to see through the trees. The website seems to market this... More

Lovely Fall weather made the wolf experience even better. We arrived in the early afternoon and spent an informative and interesting 1&1/2 hours viewing the dioramas and other displays. Then a wolf expert gave a talk on wolf behavior in the small aud while we watch wolves interacting through large windows. Later that evening we departed with a small group... More

We stopped by the center when we were up in Ely for the day. I remembered having been there as a child and having a wonderful time. The center seems mostly unchanged since when I first visited. There are educational displays about wolves, a small theater, and a gift shop. Of course, the main attraction is the wolves, and there's... More

Very good center with the theater and education sessions that helps you to understand the wolves world. The center is very big for just one visit. If you have time, it's better to split your visiting in two days. You do not need to buy a ticket for the next day.

The exhibits are very informative. Wolves are sort of standoffish and I would like to see them implement some trail cams or something so visitors can see the wolves without disturbing them.
