We had a great time...the park is fantastic and so clean and pretty. The camp hosts Ron and Joy were the best! They get to know campers and clean up all the sites...making everyone feel so welcome and at home!

We camped here for five nights and had a great time. Between camping, hiking, swimming, fishing and canoeing we stayed quite busy. We also took the time to visit some of the area's other attractions and were quite happy with every place we visited.

Went there for an afternoon of a little hiking and swimming. If I were a camper, it would be a great place to camp.

Great wooded sites, quiet park, nice clean bathrooms - all good stuff. Geocaching was really fun. No designated bike trails but still lots of places to ride around.

This park has great views and access to the lake available everywhere. There are row boats available to rent and trolling motors too- which we would recommend as it is a big lake. You can also rent paddle boards and kayaks. Most of the park...More

Looking at the map for the park it is labled as a primitive camp. I cannot post the map but if you seach Bear Head Lake State Park map the official state park map will show up in one of the top searches.
