When the weather is nice we love to walk around the lake, see movies in the park on Thursday nights, have picnics, rent paddle boats, play mini golf, goto the farmers market, and play croquet. In the winter they rent skates at the warming house and you can skate on the frozen lake. The lake is also near a lot... More

Great area to relax. You can go around the lakes in about 30 min. Feels calm and relaxing. Was there on a business trip and went there a couple of times to relax.

It was a cold February day, but the sky was very blue and I decided to get out my camera for some practice. I stopped by Centennial Lakes to take a walk around the landscaped ponds. I was very impressed with the number of secluded and open seating areas you could spend time looking at the water (or ice in... More

Although picturesque in all seasons, Winter is... well, Winter and I recommend use of the warming which usually has a fire going in the fireplace. Spring, Summer or Fall, the walkways are tranquil amid the hustle and bustle of a city. There is a wonderful putting course and bocci ball courts for those looking for a more active pastime.

We love going out in the water in the summer. Beautiful view and very relaxing. I highly recommend a visit for ice cream and a walk in the park or even people watching. Beautiful park and water rides. We will definitely be back.

Park has many family friendly things to do. The only thing I don't like is the constant piped in music. I wish the parks dept. would save the electricity and turn off the music and let us hear the sounds of nature.

We met our friends here for our last day of Christmas vacation! Parking is easy,..right next to Chuck-E-Cheese. (easy stairs going down to skating or in the ramp below with covered parking) Walk into the welcoming Hughes Centennial Lakes building with the concession stand, skate rental, slider chair rental, etc,..to change into your skates or warm up next to the... We finally decided to take the whole family skating on the pond at Centennial Lakes. The warming building where you put skates on is warm and cozy with nice rubber matting covering the entire floor. 2 fireplaces cast nice warmth. Very nice place to take the kids skating. It is a very novice setting if you are just learning to... More

Centennial Lakes is located on a site of a former gravel pit. You'd never know it today. It is conveniently located off of 494 and France. Restaurants and shopping are just above the parking area for the park. The park has various events that go year round. In the summer you can rent a paddle boat, go mini golfing, catch... More
