First time here and I had a blast with my siblings and grandparents. The tour guide definitely had a ton of knowledge to share and kept the information engaging with his audience of all ages. Their collection is a wonderful mix of WWII history, each piece with its own story. I’d highly recommend this to anyone looking to learn about aircraft and WWII

What an amazing afternoon. I live nearby and had no idea WotN was in my backyard. I went with a friend and didn't expect much, but there are so many incredible pieces of history housed here. There is something unbelievable about being able to touch an airplane that flew missions in WWII, or look into the cockpit of a trainer plane that a future US president would learn to fly in.

We spent 2 hours touring the museum with an amazing tour guide, Bob Koch. Bob brought the stories behind all the artifacts to life and it made for a really fun and engaging afternoon.

If you're looking for something to do I definitely recommend WotN. For some people museums can be boring, but between the incredible artifacts and the passionate people of WotN you'd be hard pressed to find anything other than fun.

My family and I visited the museum today. We had a wonderful time. The staff is super kind, the tour guide was really nice and knowledgeable of what he was presenting. The aircrafts were awesome. A lot of good history. My father (airplane lover) loved it! My six years old son as well! It was a nice family experience.

This was the perfect “Dad’s Day” adder to the day with kids (9, 7 and 5) while we gave mom a calm afternoon at home.

Our day was planned for a relaxing afternoon at the MN Landscape Arboretum to read and explore, but we found this gem of museum that we made time for and we are glad we did.

All ages (and dad) enjoyed everything that the museum has to offer. The guide (docent) was fabulous with his vast knowledge of the exhibits / history, patience with three small kids and accommodation of letting them look, touch and be curious.

There was so much to see and do that the kids asked (as soon as we got in the car) when we can go back.

were it not for this dedicated band of volunteers then I'm sure this collection would have been broken up a long time ago and spread to the four corners of the world. However they have worked hard to keep it all together and the result is a small but passionate museum run by dedicated volunteers.
I loved my two hours here, being told about the exhibits with enthusiasm by an ex-vet.
A great way to spend a morning or afternoon......long may the volunteers continue.

I saw the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing display. It was very interesting. I got to touch a tire of a space shuttle that had actually flown in space. The temporary exhibit is gone now. They have very good docents and no matter who you have you will learn something you did not know before.

I expected to just spend 20 mins looking at the items at the temporary Apollo exhibit but spent more than 2 hrs with my personal tour guide Bob who showed me the entire museum including all of the historic planes in their hanger. A must see for anyone interested in aviation history!!! Definitely got my money's worth out of the $10 tour fee.

This was a great way to spend my birthday! My wife, two adult children and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We learned a lot from a very knowledgeable man and the exhibits. The seed was planted to learn more. We plan on going again.

We came in to check out the museum, and the director gave us a personal tour!! He knew so much, and walked us through all of the exhibits. Lots of cool stories that we wouldn’t have known otherwise! President Bush’s Stearman was awesome too! We’ll be back!

A small but very interesting flight museum. For air history buffs like my friend Jim from the UK it was an excellent visit. He swapped stories with Mike the chief docent who was our guide and, as Mike hoped, we learnt a lot. What is the origin of the phrase "the whole 9 yards?" - hint it is nothing to do with football!
You will love the airplanes which have been well restored and 2 of them had been flying the previous day.
This museum is a hidden gem with dedicated and knowledible guides.
