So stunningly beautiful

I went to this with my friend for our birthday weekend and we had so much fun! It was so beautiful and such a smooth ride, I expected it to feel a lot more uncomfortable but it was such a nice ride. Our pilot, brett, was so friendly and made the experience even better. We did the 15 mile tour that I got for a discount from Groupon - which I felt was an awesome thing to promote, as it made it possible for me to afford doing something like this for the first time! I loved it and it inspired me to save up to do a longer tour in the future!

Took a younger rider who was pretty nervous beforehand. By the time it was done he wanted doors off experience. Smooth ride, pilot was knowledgeable and made both of us feel so comfortable. We are both excited to do it again. A longer ride next time!

I took my 2 sons- ages 7 and 11 for their first helicopter ride my younger son had reservations and was a bit nervous. The staff at the desk as well as the pilot were wonderful in attempting to calm him and explain everything that was happening. The pilot pointed out sites of interest and continued to keep the kids engaged in conversation. It was an excellent experience. Both boys want to go again and left proclaiming that they wanted to become pilots when they grow up. Absolutely will go again and recommend this experience to everyone.

First Helicopter Ride

The quick ride with Lake Superior Helicopter was a hoot- wish we had found the deal for the longer one first, because I definitely wanted to stay up longer. Chris, our pilot, was very friendly, and knew his stuff. Havent seen the pictures they took for us yet, but very pleased with the professionalism of the company.

We opted for the 15 minute tour and it was spectacular! It was mine and my husbands first helicopter ride. Everyone was very safety conscious and informative. Thank you to everyone who made this experience so fantastic, we plan on seeing you again next year!😁

Good process, but recommend the 15-mile tour for full value.

Process was good. Kids enjoyed the tour. Signed up for a 30-mile tour which was indicated at 30 minutes. They were back in just over 22 minutes from take-off to landing. I talked to others who signed up for the 15-mile tour and they had a similar experience at half the cost. My recommendation is to take the tour if you can afford it as it is a good tour and the staff are friendly, but ensure the pilot knows what tour you are on and your expectations (those offered by the company) or stick with the shorter tour.

Fantastic Overview of Duluth Area
This was the second year that we did flew with Lake Superior Helicopter. Our 13 year old grandson always commandeers the co-pilot seat for an amazing experience. Views from the rear seats are excellent too. Each trip, the pilot has been informative and entertaining. We will book again next summer.

Up, up and away!!

If you are looking for something fun to do, check out Lake Superior Helicopters. They are located near the Duluth airport. They have several packages for viewing Duluth and the North Shore from the air. If this is a special occasion, let them know so they can try to help with pre-plans. Staff and pilots are professional yet fun.

Lake Superior Helicopters also does many events throughout the summer across the Midwest offering rides to tourists.

Smooth and funny

Riding instructor was able to keep conversation and understood that one of the two passengers he had we nervous about flying. Take off and landing were both very smooth and seamless. The staff were excellent with us the whole way. I strongly recommend them especially if this is a first time helicopter experience!!
