We got on a Comfortable Mini Bus. It was off to Hoops Brewery greeted by e owner, told us about how the Brewery was built. Very Educational. Some were given 3 sample beers or Non-Alcoholic Beer or pop. Then off to Lake Ave Cafe .for a Gourmet Meal, that was Excellent! Back on the Bus to the DECC and Symphony Hall. It was Symphony's Rehearsal. We were greeted by Symphony Guild. Viola and the conductor gave information on the movements he does, the music being performed. We went backstage and then on the stage right next to the musicians. Exciting as they practice. More touring around in places that most people never get a chance to see in Symphony Hall. What an adventure. Everything was Perfect and I truly mean that.

Fabulous! Beer tasting at Hoops, gourmet dinner at Lake Avenue Cafe then sitting amongst the musicians on stage rehearsing for Beethoven concert...other worldly experience and all with two delightful hosts. Simply beautiful!

This was my wife and I's second "Duluth Experience." We started Blacklist where we started with a pistachio-lime beer. Was delicious. My wife is allergic to nuts, so a big thanks to Chad (I think), for asking if anyone had an allergy, before pouring. We then went into learning how to axe throw. It was our first time and it had a little learning curve, but in the end both of us could stick the axe frequently. We then learned about the history of the Blacklist Building. We then headed to Hoops. What a great set-up. 25-27 different beer on tap all brewed at Hoops. Tried the chili pepper beer, but maybe only a 5oz next time. The No. 00 was my favourite. A blueberry milk stout. Lunch was delivered at Hoops. Was decent, but nothing special. Last stop was Thirsty Pagan in Superior. Another great stop on the tour. We were able to "tap" some sour barrels in the basement, and try to come up with a flavour profile. Big thanks to Lisa and Kyle. They were great guides. Very knowledgeable and very friendly. Would highly recommend this tour, and any other.
