A nice place to attend a conference and whether staying at downtown hotel or one in canal park, both ways are easily accessible and easy walk. Lunches and coffee breaks served here are always good quality. I usually leave my car at the hotel and walk over, but you can park close by at a cost of only $5/day. Bayside... More

We stayed at the Pier B hotel/ resort. It is a short walk and you don't have to worry about parking!! I was surprised at how reasonable their beverages were! Bathrooms are always an issue at any venue!!! It was well organized, except for the souvenir areas, only 2!!!???? Understaffed!!!

Pay for parking is kinda lame as it's not like the place is hurting for space. It's wide open down there. Plus the "DECC" is so large and it connects to a new arena so your not sure where to park or where the DECC starts and ends or where the new arena begins or where to enter the building... More

I am a local and often walk near the bay, near the Vista Queen docks. Why has the sidewalk area not been updated in the over 40 years the DECC has been built? The sidewalks are crazy, not very walkable. There are square tracts of land near scrubby trees that are just dirt, with nothing planted on them. The benches... More

The event was fun but the bathrooms are disgusting!!! Great location to walk to other attractions. Easy to get too. Would go back

I was here for a conference so we were in a ballroom and meeting rooms. This place is huge and connected to the ice arena, with tons of meeting and convention space, next to the aquarium and theater. There is good pedestrian passage from downtown and along the waterfront via skywalks, sidewalks, and pedestrian walkways. The light breakfast, lunch, and... More

Attended ARRM conference here in mid-May . The venue was wonderful . The conference rooms were comfortable and had tables which made note taking easy. Beautiful scenery . Loved looking out at Lake Superior and the Ariel Bridge. Great sky way system which puts you in close proximity to shopping, restaurants and hotel . All DECC staff I came in... More

The DECC has been working with Celebration Talent for a while now. My sister has danced here for competition for over 6 years and we love it. It is close to food vendors/restaurants (walk over the bridge, 10 minute walk with awesome views). Concessions are a bit pricey like every concession stand you go to and seats are a little... More

We were here for the Minnesota Association of Christian Home Educators conference and we were treated like royalty! The DECC staff are amazing. The venue has breathtaking views and great hospitality. We took up most of the building. Not the first conference I've been to here and it's always a fantastic experience. The DECC is intentional about recycling too!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn and enjoyed our walk through the new updated indoor Skywalk to the DECC (that's what they call it at the front desk). Saw the Globetrotters there! Very nice place. Lots of fun!
