We parked by the Rose garden & walked into town & back. Beautiful flowers, especially peonies. There's a stage where we were lucky to see choral singers performing. It was beautiful. Passed Fitgers Brewery & several musicians at the Canal park end of walk. saw the tourist train go through.

Bring your selfie stick. With Lake Superior in the background, the fountain, gazebo and zillions of flowers, you have to take some pictures.

We visited at the peak of the rose season, so this park was spectacular! Hundreds of varieties of roses along with lots of park benches make for a lovely stroll.

Nice park - with Lake Superior on one side and a very pretty flower garden on the other - this is a nice place to spend time in the summer.

Spend a little bit walking around the roses. Beautiful flowers that smell amazing! Good view of the lake too! This was our first stop before we went on the north shore scenic road!

We arrived early enough to set up our lawn chairs and spend time walking through the park. Duluth is very fortunate to have such a great park!!! A must see in in Duluth!!!

Bring your camera and try to find the loveliest rose! Then turn around and get photos of Duluth and the aerial bridge with roses in the foreground. Or simply walk around and smell the fragrant air and follow the walking trails. This is a beautiful park and well worth the visit. If you happen to be there on a Friday... More

What a labor of love has gone into this place. On street level (there is a lower level walking path too). I got lost searching for the most fragrant rose...it was light lavender in color. The peony section had some amazing types I had never seen. Add to the fact that it looks over Lake Superior, what isn't to like?
