I live in Duluth and "normally" the Lakewalk is a beautiful place to visit. People from all walks of life walk their dogs, bike, jog, run, roller blade, and even inline skate & ski down the Lakewalk. But the area of the Lakewalk from Canal...More

The lake walk is 6.2 miles and wraps around the Duluth park of the lake. The walk is along a paved or boardwalk trail and the views are wonderful. There are many places to stop with parks, lighthouses, the port, or just to contemplate nature....More

Not simply a paved walking path, the Lakewalk is also the quick scenic route between Canal Park and Superior St. Even on a cold, windy day it's interesting to watch the waves reach the shoreline.

I always enjoy a nice walk on the lakefront. The view is nice and you can go for quite the distance. There are shops and restaurants right off of the walkway.
