The lake walk is one of the most enjoyable attractions in Duluth. The boardwalk has been damaged more than once by the furious waves that come up during storms on Lake Superior, but it has always been repaired in a timely manner. There is a separate path next to the board walk for bikes, skaters etc. Not sure I'd recommend... More

It's always heartwarming to discover that a town had so much forethought to secure their most valuable asset from development and destruction. And that's what you'll see from every vantage point on the Lakewalk.

You can turn this into a several mile walk if you are so inclined. Starting North at the LE Park, you go south along the railroad tracks pass Fitgers(which is a great place to stop for a drink outdoors) to park point and the aerial Lift bridge and Park Point where you can see the ships entering and leaving port.... Yes, being old or young, Sir, you had better take her hand and give her every moment to enjoy the splendid aurora and of course your on divided attention. You will be rewarded. (do not forger to tell her: "I Love You"

During summer months you can find me on the Duluth Lakewalk almost on a daily basis. Beautiful view from one end to the other. Great for biking, running, walking, you name it.

We lucked in with the unseasonal hot run in November with no wind & the sun shining on a balmy afternoon ! The Lakewalk was a pleasant way to spend either 20 minutes or several hours , your choice, your time, your dime ! A lovely walk after lunch with some nice sights !

We couldn't pass up on the "lake walk" while visiting Duluth,MN. Lake Superior is stunning even in Arctic cold conditions. Most walkers were bundled up very well for the cold temperatures. We enjoyed the serenity of this lovely walk but felt cold even in our warm apparel. During the summer months the lake walk is perfect for bicycling, skateboarding, and walking.... More

A unique boardwalk allows you to walk around the lake. It appears to get beat up with the huge waves, as there is a lot of debris along lakewalk. Something everyone has to use when in Duluth.

Beautiful views. I loved listening to the waves. Quiet and peaceful on a Saturday morning after a yoga class at Evolve.

Good any time of the year. Walk along Lake Superior - an inland sea. Plus, beautiful and charming Duluth.
