DO not miss this drive. Just make sure your driver watches the road and there is many wayside stops along the way with views that never stop. You will see all of Duluth from the North to the South and to the East into Wisconsin. If you visited the canal, bridge, and all the other places you will be able... More

This park/highway runs along the ridge overlooking Duluth. Neat views of the harbor/lake/city and beautiful nature looking uphill. Small waterfalls and forest, plus trails are things you should not miss. You can hike, drive or bike AND it is FREE!

I travel this road frequently and live very close, and actually lived on it before I got married. You can see the Ships coming or going, a nightly view is beautiful. You have a wonderful view of the famous bridge, without having to venture into the canal area. I love the view from my home--- doesn't cover all the city... More

What should of been a highlight of our visit quickly degenerated into a farce ! The first couple of signposts with the seagull (?) all of a sudden disappeared ?? What was supposed to be a pleasant 25 mile leisurely sight seeing drive went pear shaped when the signs went AWOL !! Now I've driven & safely navigated London, Paris... More

Saw cars driving up and down that hill, and knew we needed to check it out for ourselves. It was worth it!

Anyone who visits the lovely town of Duluth will see for themselves how beautiful the view is from the Skyline Parkway. You can drive this route any time of the year and you won't be disappointed either!

This drive is a beautiful way to enter Duluth. It lies directly off the I 35 and affords one beautiful views of Duluth harbor from easy to navigate parking areas along the highway. The Thompson Rest Area has an extensive travel information center to enhance your North Shore experience.

When one lives in an area you often take things for granted, but the Skyline Parkway is always a great drive anytime of the year to realize why I live in Duluth. From the beginning at SW of Spirit Mt through the city to Old Hwy 61 there is so much to see and enjoy. Is a must drive when... More

The Skyline Parkway provides some of the best views of Duluth and the lake and is readily accessible. We traveled about 6-8 miles of the total 26 and would have liked to have seen it all.
