Watch seagulls soaring while you stroll around this popular spot, part of the revived Duluth waterfront. Nearby are a sculpture garden, jazz clubs, coffee shops, motels and restaurants. If you like ships, stand on the pier and watch huge boats and ships, some from around the world, come and go daily.

It's a Saturday night and I headed over to the Canal Park brewery. When there was a wait for a table, I was pleasantly surprised to grab a stool at the bar. Upbeat crowd and friendly staff that made we feel very comfortable and I'm not one that dines out much on my own. The staff was all very prompt... More

Don't miss Amazing Grace cafe in De Sitz Weitz Market Place. On Sunday nights at 6pm young local musicians can come and showcase their talent on a stage for the first time. There is some fabulous undiscovered talent in Duluth. Afterwards the old pros have a jam session and there is an amazing atosphere in the cafe and it is... More

The best hotels and some great shops and restaurants are all in Canal Park. You can also let your kids watch ships pass through the canal and let them throw rocks in the water. The museum here is fun (and free) too.

We took friends and their kids to Canal park, walked the frozen shore and then went to the Dewitt-Seitz Market place to shop and snack.

We wandered through the shops and eateries along both sides of Canal Park. It was a fun way to spend time, looking at some arts, crafts, kitchen items, etc. The wind off the lake was bitter cold so we scurried between stores. Summer would bring a different leisurely pace that we'll go back to enjoy.

We have visited Canal Park many times, usually in the warmer months. We just took a day trip here and even though it was cold, icy & snowy, it was an enjoyable walk around the park. Many great things in the area, along with shopping & restaurants. Great photo opportunities as well!

Canal Park has a little bit of everything for everybody. We loved the tourist shops, restaurants, and being on both the bay and lake. We enjoyed watching the huge ships going under the lift bridge while also enjoying the smaller fishing charters going out fishing. The lighthouse is a great photo opportunity and provides an incredible view of Duluth.

There's a lot of food options but they're some of the most expensive inDuluth. A dinner for two at Grandmas will cost over $75 with drinks and tip.The views are great and there's a few shops and attractions. If you like antiques make sure to hit Father Time!!!

We've never seen a bridge like this or ships like these. The park itself is quite nice along shore of Lake Superior. There is a food truck with snacks and lots of people were picnicking on the grounds. Iron ore ships, which are unbelievably long, ply these waters and were fascinating to watch as they passed under the the Aerial... More
