Watch seagulls soaring while you stroll around this popular spot, part of the revived Duluth waterfront. Nearby are a sculpture garden, jazz clubs, coffee shops, motels and restaurants. If you like ships, stand on the pier and watch huge boats and ships, some from around the world, come and go daily.

Canal park is scenic and relaxing. Can get very busy with a lot of people. Great view of the lake, sailboats, ships and the lift bridge. The only disappointment is people will urinate out on the lookout pier which is cement and it can reek very badly of urine. But that is disgusting people for ya.

Canal Park is a "must see" every time we are in the area. Beautiful area to walk along the lake, see the ships and lift bridge and stop to skip a few rocks. Walk down to the historic Fitgers and have some ice cream or a cold beverage.

Went with my husband and it was beautiful. Great to even sit on the rocks and just look out at the water. Little ice cream shop right next to it with amazing ice cream too!

Duluth has done a very nice job of getting this area developed. Lots of restaurants, hotels, little stores, aquarium, etc and well worth spending at least an afternoon wondering around this area. Maybe the best attraction is the Duluth ship canal and lift bridge. Very enjoyable.

What a nice area. We loved walking around and seeing the lift bridge and going down the walk to the light house. Clean area with lots of different stores and places to eat.

Beautiful views of the lake at all times of the day. The later the day gets, the busier it gets, but anytime of the day is great for exercising , hanging out, photography. Lots of benches for spectating and good for all ages

This was a beautiful place to spend the afternoon just sight seeing. There's so much history in Duluth, MN. You have to stop at all the tiny shops around town. The ocean view of Lake Superior is so breathtaking. The weather in July was the best. A must see if your going to be in town.

Dropped in here on our way to the North Shore, spur of the moment, and we really liked it. THe Corps of Engineers exhibits, the lighthouses, the aerial bridge, and the outdoor exhibits were all excellent.

This area has lots of little shops. Great places to eat. And more others to see. Take your time when here. Look around. Walk down to the beautiful Lake Superior. Watch the boats come in and out of the harbor. Just enjoy your day here.

We love coming to Canal Park. We were surprised by the number of homeless looking folks. We have not seen that before while in Duluth. We love watching the ships come in. That never gets old. A lot of good restaurants and bars.
