Watch seagulls soaring while you stroll around this popular spot, part of the revived Duluth waterfront. Nearby are a sculpture garden, jazz clubs, coffee shops, motels and restaurants. If you like ships, stand on the pier and watch huge boats and ships, some from around the world, come and go daily.

Great shops, restaurants, and hotels. Very safe feeling. Clean. We ate at Grandma's on their upstairs balcony. We were able to see ocean freight ships come through the canal and watched the lift bridge rise. Really cool! We stayed at Comfort Inn with a lakeside view.

The lakeshore is beautiful. Hopefully you will see a big ship come in. Lots of fun shops and plenty of places to eat. Stay at one of the four hotels. All are great.

My husband and I come up her at least once a year. It is gorgeous in the summer and fall! We love the park and all that there is to see and learn about in the area!

Amazing scenes of boats out on the water. The walkways are nicely paved. A nice park for the kids to play in. Very cool,

We stayed the first night at a hotel outside of Canal Park. Once we visited the Park, however, we changed our reservations so we could stay in the Park and walk to everything. Great restaurants, shops and lots of activities.

Put your walking shoes on and get ready to cover some ground! Lots of great things to see and do without breaking the bank. Check out a light house, read about historical features, watch ships come in, skip rocks in Lake Superior, walk your dog, hike across the lift bridge and even rent a pedal cart and cruise around a... It's probably been 10 years since I have been to Canal Park. I was quite impressed with how it has grown and expanded. There are numerous hotels and places to stay, beautiful scenery, nice restaurants and just a great vibe all around. Unfortunately we only had time to spend 24 hours. I definitely plan on going back to Duluth and... More

Been to Duluth many times, this was the day before the Tall Ships came in, and it was busy but not mobbed. The next day when the ships were in port, it was wall to wall people. The marine visitor center is always very interesting and educational. Love going there!
