The Aerial Lift Bridge is a distinct part of the Duluth skyline. Visit Canal Park to view the bridge up close or better yet, drive across it to take in Park Point.

This is such a unique bridge! I had traveled to Duluth many times in my life but never actually saw the bridge up close. We took it to the beach areas and it was so neat driving on this! Nothing like it!

See it at night, and don't miss the maritime museum, right next door, the view back towards Duluth & Hermantown, across the harbor, is stunning once you cross over it from "town"...

The lift bridge has been around for years. In our office, we have a framed picture set of the bridge over the years, and it fascinates everyone that comes in when they see the transformations. If you're in the area, park the car and take some time to walk it. I love the sound the cars make as they drive... More

Canal Park and they Ariel Lift Bridge are Duluth's number one attraction! Food, shopping, and SHIPS from all over the Great Lakes, and the world to see. The bridge itself is amazing to watch and walk over. I am lucky enough to live on the other side and cross this bridge every day. You will not be disappointed!

This is an amazing landmark for Duluth's history. The bridge lifts up for ships and boaters to travel in and out of Lake Superior. Years ago they would allow you to ride up when the ships would come through. It's a beautiful bridge and more amazing at night when lite up. You can enjoy it when you take a stroll... More

You could say the Lift Bride "anchors" Duluth. It's in Canal Park where you'll find shopping, restaurants, and a museum. It's fun for people of all ages to watch the gigantic (and even small) ships pass through the lift bridge. It's also fun to walk across. This is a must do if you are visiting Duluth.
