You are trapped in a room. But it's not an ordinary room, it's a real life adventure game designed for small groups of friends, families, co-workers or strangers. You look around and begin to notice strange objects and messages - or are they clues? - scattered around. Can you and your team solve the puzzles, figure out the clues, find the key, and escape the room? You'll have to think on your feet: our games require you to think your way out, not break your way out. You have 60 minutes, so be quick!

My family and I have been to Zero Hour Escape Rooms in Duluth twice in the past 6 months. We did the Wheelhouse escape room and the Serial Box Killer escape room. We had a group of 6 or 7 people for our visits. Some of us liked the Wheelhouse better (it was a little easier for beginners) and others liked the Serial Box Killer room better. Each person was able to help in some way to solve the puzzles. It was a great "team-building" type activity. The actual building space that the Escape Rooms are in is kind of old and run-down and it was not the fanciest or cleanest place we've ever been, but the activity was fun, the price was fair (sometimes there are coupons online), and the staff members were friendly and helpful. We would go back again.

We weren't sure what to expect but our group had a lot of fun at this escape room. The game was interesting and challenging but not impossible. We did the Enchanted Forest game and enjoyed it.
My only "complaint" is that I thought the regular price of $30 per person (x8 was $240) was high for less than an hour of entertainment. Hint: Check Groupon for discounts. We ended up only paying $20 per person and that was much more reasonable.

Brought my boys (8 and 11) down with my wife and twin nieces. Game masters were great and game was so fun. Did the wheelhouse room. All the kids and adults picked up certain portions and contributed the entire time. Definitely worth the visit

We went to the escape room in Jan 2021 and did The Wheelhouse. It was 2 adults and 2 teens. Maybe our minds just didn't work the way of "detectives" but we found it quite challenging. We are not rocket scientists but we are college educated, lol. With covid you are in your own private group which was great. I would not have wanted to be in their with strangers even without Covid. The only thing I was a little disappointed with was that they didn't give us a couple more clues initially. They are watching you and if you are really struggling, they are supposed to give you clues. Well we wasted so much time in the beginning figuring out how things worked we only got like 5 minutes in the second room. We didn't expect to finish but it would have been nice to have at least had a little more time in there. It was obvious we were struggling and obvious we would not finish so I am not sure why they didn't through us a couple more clues as they said we would. I think we got 2. Anyway, it was a fun time and I would recommend. Oh one other thing, it said it was for kids of most ages but I can't imagine kids under 12 really being successful. Just my opinion. They may still have fun just participating with the adults though.

We are happy that you had a good time. Sorry to hear you didn't make it. we find kids in the rooms have the most fun just running through and making a mess, which actually helps the adults in the room. Kids are never afraid to just go and do something, and often find a lot of the pieces of the puzzles

My fiance and I have completed a few escape rooms together but this one was great! The people helping us were genuine and super engaged as well. The room was well put together with a mixture of puzzles that were challenging and doable. We highly recommend Zero Hour!

We had a group of 8 for my friend’s birthday and had reserved the enchanted forest but upon arrival had learned that the enchanted forest wasn’t open due to something breaking and they had no record of our reservation. The staff wasn’t apologetic at all and after some confusion and a lot of disappointment the staff finally offered playing the prison break room instead at that time. So we were grateful that we were still able to play. The game itself was a lot of fun. I have to knock off three points due to the way the staff initially handled our lost reservation. They seemed annoyed by the whole thing and weren’t apologetic at all. We also never received our photos afterwards. I recommend calling again before your scheduled event to double check things are working and also that they even have your reservation.

My boyfriend and I went here as our last thing to do in Duluth before we went back home and it was the perfect way to finish our night. The host that talked us through how the game worked and the background of our specific escape was incredibly friendly and nice to work with. The Escape Room itself had a variety of fun puzzles ranging in difficulty that really made us think outside of the box (and sometimes in the box too). I would highly recommend coming here to any couples, families, or group of friends looking for something different, but fun, to try.
Wearing a mask the entirety of our visit did not bother either one of us, nor lessen the enjoyment/value of our experience, so I would not worry about that small aspect at all.

I took my kids ages 9 & 12 with my mom and my friend along with her son also age 12. It was a challenging room. We could've used a few more hints but I like that they don't make it easy. If you escape you worked hard and earned it and when you don't it just makes you want to come back and make it out the next time. The male staff wasn't real friendly but the girl who was in charge of our group was super nice.

We went to Zero Hour Escape Room on Halloween. We went in our costume and cosplay outfits! When we got there we were created by very courteous hosts. We were able to put our items that we didn't want to carry into their locked lockers. We were given the instructions on what objects can be used and what objects cannot. As well as instructions on receiving help. We were able to figure out the room within the hour time limit given. The attention to detail and immaculate care of all clues in the room was very impressive. It was a very clean and sanitized. We did need six clues. It was educational, ridiculously fun, and well worth the money. It was better than going to a movie 150%. I had never been in a simulation like this. I would suggest it to anybody and any group. I can't thank Zero Hour Escape Rooms enough. We are planning another go at a different room in January.

A family outing (6 adults) that went splendidly. We had 2 veteran escapers and the room went smoothly w/ some time to spare. Everyone had a lot of fun exploring and taking turns playing with different puzzles. As always with rooms like this, communication is key. Thanks for a great time in The Wheelhouse. I look forward to trying more...

Can you do this with a 4 month old present? Or is there to much going on that it probably wouldn’t be the best cup of tea

Whoever is taking care of the baby would have fun observing and participating in a small way. If the baby is not in a good mood, it would be hard to join in. If I couldn't find a sitter, I would have no problem taking the baby along.
