Seats are way too cramped especially in the balcony. Noticed several larger people had to try to move . I myself had a little room to spare but not much. Hard to get in and out of with so little room.

I brought my in-laws and my daughter to see The Cat in the Hat. There was some construction outside, so it was hard to get to. We parked a block away near the bowling ally and just walked in.There is parking next door to the building, not sure if costs anything; ours was only $2 for a whole day though. The door was hard to find too, being in the middle of the building front and off to the right. There is a sign though. The staff upon walking in were friendly and informative. There were drinks, coffee and snacks available for purchase at only $2 a piece. The play was well done, in a small auditorium. Clean restrooms available down the hall. The small cast of 6 were great, very interactive with the audience and the play was wisely kept short, 45 minutes, for the younger audience members. My only confusion was the surprise love interest for the Cat in the Hat. An audience member chosen to be serenaded (cat meows and pretend ukulele) on the edge of the stage. Funny but a bit out of character for the Cat and just seemingly off when everything else was geared towards the young kids. All in all, fun time and not terribly expensive.…

Everything had been great at the old address, but the move to the NorShor has not been a pleasant move. Walking from the parking lot Handicap Parking is a long distance and it took over 45 minutes to get out after the show. We always have enjoyed the shows, which are well done, and we enjoyed the first one at the NorShor, but the parking situation is unacceptable. Also, the seating is crowded. Certainly there are customers who are more in need of better handicap parking situation, and the current parking needs to be fixed before we would purchase the next year tickets.…

A great short visit to 'The Underground' to see the 12th Annual Short Film Festival. The theatre was small and sold out though it was a good busy atmosphere for the type of event. First time at such an event and it was worth the visit. Note: 'Duluth Playhouse' was actually signposted as 'The Underground' when trying to find it. …
