Our Arboretum is one of the largest and most beautiful in the entire country.....an absolute must see if you're visiting Minnesota, or live here. The landscape and gardens are kept to perfection and no matter what the season, there are miles of natural beauty to wander through. The special garden art installations vary each year. If the weather is bad,... More

We are members and really enjoy the site and the classroom opportunities for children and adults. The spring start up gardens are beautiful. The plant sale has some real bargains and you are helping a good cause. Many volunteer opportunities also available.

We visit the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum often during the spring-fall months and are never disappointed. They plant over 30,000 spring bulbs in the fall and the results each spring are breathtaking! We continue visting throughout the summer when their perennials and annuals display beds are going full throttle. There are trails and trams, a Japanese garden, hosta glade, wildflower gardens,... Wonderful way to spend a day to refresh. Excellent way to learn how to plant and what to plant in your own yard in order to conserve and protect our earth. Excellent professionals helping with any question. Again awesome way to regroup!

The arboretum is a beautiful place to hike in the Fall and in the summer/spring. The flowers and trees are great for taking pictures. The many exhibits are also fun to see. They change every season.

The place is beautiful. Even in this super hot summer the shady paths were great to unwind. There's a 3 mile drive to look at different trees, but beware of bees they are in full force. Just leave them alone and don't swat at them and they'll move on. All the flowers smell so good. It's a great place for... More

This a a wonderful place to renew the spirit with nature. There are always birds-year round. We renewed a membership in December. Busiest days are Mothers day, Easter and Holidays. In door displays of plants and art change.

This is a massive garden (46 different ones) and arboretum . It has extensive trails, paths , and a three mile drive through the various tree collections, lakes, prairie, grasses, hedges, and more. The massive buildings at the entrance are full of permanent and temporary exhibits relating to the gardens. Well worth the trip. You need two to four hours.....or... More

What a beautiful and interesting place! A great place to spend a day either relaxing in one of the many peaceful and beautiful nature areas. Or walking the many paths. Check Groupon if you'd like discount tickets because we used them and and have seen tickets listed on there a number of times.
