The burnsville center is dead. It was pretty dirty and gross. It gives off a weird feeling.. some teens knocked over a cardboard stand in a kiosk. The bathrooms are unclean. Just go to the Mall of America. Theres more to do there, its more clean, and less creepy-feeling. Burnsville center is just, boring.

Food court gone, place is dirty. Macy's is a joke and can't get anyone to help. People are rude and selection is clothing is poor. I hate touching any handrails. Floors are gross, carpeting is even more gross. Evenings seemto be a hangout for thugs. Reminds me of the rundown failing of Malls in north metro years ago. Not a safe place to be. Many area of Burnsville have deteriorated over the past 10 years, including the school system.. many call it little Mogadishu

Stopped here on a Friday night an hour before closing. The place was almost too quiet. It was quite a difference from Rosedale Mall where I usually shop... that has undergone a huge remodel. A bit of updating might help bring some life.

Maybe they should increase security and people and vendors will return to this once busy mall. It is widely known that because of this mall's closeness to Highway 35 and the relaxed security it is attractive to some pretty shady characters. I won't let my daughter go without me.

Did you know that the mall opens early every day for mall walkers? It is a clean, climate controlled, safe, flat place to walk and get exercise. There is music playing (currently Christmas music) over the sound system. I think the doors open around 7:30 am.

There are a lot of stores which are empty but I do think the mall owners are trying hard to bring this mall back to life.

Burnsville Center is going down hill and that's only part of the story. I was there within the last month and went to their play place with my grandchildren. A area for kids that seemed to have all new items for them to jump on and play in. We went down to their food court to get some food. While sitting at the table I check out ALL THE DUST on the signs in the food court. It was a noticeable amount on the signs and the fixture holding them up. Any way, to the main issue I had. I went to the Greek Grill and Fry Co and got food and a drink. I noticed .5 get rung up on the cash register and thought wtf. I checked out the receipt I found a fifty cent surcharge for credit card use. REALLY. when I can charge .76 cents at kwik trip for bananas I thought the days of up charges were gone. I do remember the time when there were minimums for cc use, but those days are gone. Well I guess there back at this place. I have not herd of cc minimums or surcharges for years. Is this place trying to bring them back ? Needless to say I will not be back to that Greek place.

A lot of spaces are empty. Arcade and fun stuff for kids are too old. Food court are also empty. Needs some serious updates.

I have lived in the south suburbs for many years and have been to the Burnsville Center many times throughout the years. I went today after not having been there in a year or two and honestly, they are in a bad need of a refresh. The entire mall seems dingy and there are lots of stores that seem to be closed/out of business. It’s an okay place to go if you have certain stores you need to visit, but definitely not a place I would walk around casually and shop around.
