    Perfect stop
This was the perfect spot to visit with family after a long day out. The staff were friendly and the food and drinks are amazing. I would recommend to anyone visiting the ares who is looking for a spot to enjoy with good atmosphere.

    Love The History
Silversmith Brewery's unique location is a historic (c.1894) church that has been decommissioned. The stained glass windows, indented arches, exposed beams, and brick walls ooze classic architecture and character. We sat at the bar this time, but when we 1st discovered Silversmith in 2019 we sat in the pews. In for just a quick beer we tried and liked the Tropical Situation Pale Ale, a 5% ABV and 30 IBU slightly fruity offering that wasn't too hoppy. They have a nice well rounded group of beers and the staff was very friendly. It looks the menu has been expanded also. They have music once a week and an outdoor patio.

Delicious Food; Great Beer; Historic Church!
We were visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake in Ontario Canada, and while exploring local breweries and pubs, we came across Silversmith Brewing. Delicious food, great beer, friendly staff, and historic church! Who could ask for more? My husband is a beer connoisseur and enjoyed their 20 Hazy Years so much that he bought several cans to bring back to our AirBnB. For lunch, we split a very delicious BLT sandwich, and we wished we had more vacation time to be able to visit this quaint place a second time. We can highly recommend Silversmith for great beer and tasty meal.

    Excellent
Well the location is fabulous as they repurposed a small church and it provides the perfect setting We settled in on their Black Lager to start and it was an excellent choice. Moved on the the wonton nachos with pork belly and an order of corn fritters both perfect. I had a pork schnitzel sandwich that was good Super nice staff and a great selection of brews Well worth the stop

Our group of four stopped in to this location while in the area and as lovers of craft beer and smaller unique breweries.

The interior was fantastic with its historic church décor however the beer did not live up to my expectations. Although they offer several different varieties, none appealed to my taste nor to any one in our group.

Been there, done it but no repeat.

The sandwiches were amazing and good value .
I just wish the staff were a little more friendlier.
When I was ask about the different beer the man point to a chalk board and I was looking for a like refreshing IPA and did get a reply but the waitress suggested one .
The one I got was little harsh and really did not like it but it was ok .
He warm up to us afterward when we were raving about the food and to tell the kitchen crew a great job.
Look I get it long weekend busy Covid time and we are great full they were open but please pay attention to the customer questions and give good advise because the best advertisement is word of mouth .
We know it a beer brewery in the heart of wine country but take a page out of thier book

Cheers

We visited this brewery as part of a tour and enjoyed the beer we sampled. It’s a lovely building (an old church) and we decided to go back the next day on our own. It was a really pleasant place to relax and spend time. On our second visit we ordered burgers/sandwiches and they were absolutely delicious. One in our group said the haggard burger was among the best burgers he’d ever had. The blackened haddock sandwich I had was moist and tender and very flavourful. Top marks and highly recommended.

This is a really cool spot but staff was not friendly. We sat down and after 15 mins had to go to the bar to grab some beer and the bar was nearly empty. Most of the beers weren’t to style! No descriptions on their chalk boards and we were never provided with menus, so who knows?! When we were done, still no table service so we went up to pay. They didn’t care about our experience, just took our money and walked away. Not cool guys!!

Thank you very much for your feedback - it is very unfortunate that you had this kind of experience, and it is unacceptable. We will work hard as a team to improve for next time. Cheers

Visited The Church on Thursday, Nov 2nd around 4:45pm. Was not informed of the Silver Hour specials on pints and small bites. Since they didn't do flights per se, we ordered four 4-oz pours and a little later decided to split the Spinach & Artichoke dip with chips. Saw Silver Hour promo info hanging on the washroom wall. Asked our server about it and did our dip qualify as a small bite. He said it did, but he'd have to check when the order was entered. Turns out it was 5:03pm and he would not honor the $2 off. That extremely poor customer service more than offset the cuteness of the church location. The food was good but minimal portions for the price; the beer quite frankly was just okay. We will not be back.

Very pretty setting. I was the designated driver for my group and was reprimanded by a shirty waiter when I asked for decaf coffee....."this is a microbrewery, not Starbucks". Well ok then. The other folks in my party liked the place but if you are not drinking for any reason, you might as well just wait in the car.

If you’re going to be in the NOTL region and looking for a brewery, look no further than Silversmith! My wife and I had traveled to the area for the Ice Wine Festival but stopped here for a quick beer on the recommendation of a friend. As someone who has visited a brewery or two, I was thoroughly impressed by all aspects of the place. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The beers were delicious! And the pretzel we ordered from the kitchen was a perfect afternoon treat.

Will have to make this a regular stop on all future trips to NOTL!

My wife and I popped in to try some beers. We’ve been to dozens of breweries in Ontario and the US and this place was phenomenal.

If you like a wide range of beers and not just IPAs, you have to pop in here.

We also snacked on a fried chicken sandwich and it was perfectly sweet and spicy. I’ll be coming back here 100%.

Our server Neil was fantastic, this guy is super knowledgeable, fun, polite and made our experience go from good to great!

We visit the Silversmith regularly. The atmosphere, music and most of all the beers are great. My personal favourite ‘Freaky Beast’ is an IPA , my wife likes the ‘Breakfast Wheat’ . Highly recommend a visit when in Niagara on the lake or Virgil
