Great for Young Kids

Something for everyone from 2 years old and up. Good value... Definitely try the donuts; you can even take them with you on the little train! Rock climbing wall is challenging but rewarding. Not every ride has an attendant but if you stand by it, one will come over and start it for you. Very friendly, laid back staff. Petting... More

Went this past week with my 4 and 6 year old grand children, they LOVED it!! Lots of nice rides for little ones and petting zoo and some other cool attractions. We spent around 4 or 5 hours there and totally got our moneys worth!! they are a little short staffed it seemed since on person was in charge of... More

A great place to go with young kids. The giant Paul Bunyan at the beginning of the park is fully interactive, since they're a guy running it behind the scenes. Kids loved asking him anything. Nice pioneer village with many displays the kids could touch. Rids were all fun but showing their age. They were all basically traveling carnival rides... More

This was my first visit to Paul Bunyan Land. As an amusement park and ride enthusiast, I had been wanting to visit this place for a few years now. It is mainly designed for younger children and families with young children. There are a few adult rides that will entertain the older children, and adult may even remember the Swinging... More

Like many others, we stopped here because of our own memories of Paul Bunyan Land as children. Our daughter, nieces and nephew loved it. To set your expectations, the rides are old fashioned and probably best suited to those 12 and under. That being said, I still enjoyed going on the tilt a whirl, carousel and ferris wheel. There's a... More

My husband and I took our kids, ages 2 and 5, to Paul Bunyan Land. As kids, our parents took us to Paul Bunyan Land...so we thought it would be fun to continue the tradition. The location has changed, but the rides and lawn decorations were the same...it was fun to take pictures with my kids that I took as... More

I am old enough to remember the original Paul Bunyan from when I was a kid. They have now moved east out of Brainerd on Highway 18. I would probably rate this a 4-5 for kids 10 and under although a bit slow-paced for older kids and adults. It is still magical when Paul talks to the kids--get ready for... More

Good old Paul still knows your name. Showing its age these days, but worth it if you're curious about what it looks like in the 21st century. Kids had fun.

I grew up with Paul Bunyan Land on the corner greeting everyone who drove to the lakes, resorts and their cabins. It has been moved and it's just not the same. Paul Bunyan was an icon and to hide it out in the "country" is disappointing at best. If you are driving through Brainerd on your way to the cabin... More
