One of the best lakes in Minnesota! We rented a private home on the east side of the lake. Sandy beach, clean water, and great local restaurants and other attractions. All of the local business have very friendly employees and Lake Millacs has something for everyone!

Now that you catch walleye the place is like a ghosts town. Seems like the business have shut down. There are no boats on the lake and the bugs are a nightmare.

The little town of Garrison MN on the coast of Lake Mille Lacs is a great day . Restaurants, fishing on a launch, and Garrison Days are some of my favorite things to do.

I purchased a 40 acre hobby farm approximately 1970 and have found beautiful sights year-round. Although I spent most of my fishing time on the numerous smaller lakes in the area my friends enjoy their time. Spring time on the shores can be rather exciting as large blocks/sheets of ice ride over each other sometimes reaching the highway. Food is... More

Some awesome fishing! Love Twin Pines resort! It's a great place and reasonably priced resort to go eat, stay, and fish. They have multiple launches that go out at all times of the day and night.

We drove around Mille Lacs Lake, whose area is 200 sq miles, with one of Ron’s high school friends (who lives in Albert Lea, MN). They came up for a few days to join us to fish. We had thought it would be hot but it was pouring rain today so we drove all around the lake. It really is... More

The bass fishing was great, lots of northern too. Can't keep any walleye right now but that doesn't stop them from biting. Launch was very fun, beautiful day.

We enjoyed our stay on Mille Lacs (French for thousand lakes). The weather wasn't great but the walks were delightful. Our resort wasn't on the lake so we weren't able to enjoy all the aspects of it. We were told by all the locals that the fishing, especially the ice fishing is fantastic. Unfortunately there is currently a ban on... More

We have a cabin on the east side of Mille Lacs Lake and the sunsets are amazing. Nice clear water and an awesome sandy bottom. Very shallow - can walk out for about two blocke.
