My 3-star rating means “nice, but don’t expect to get blown away.” My travels have taken me to dozens of Japanese gardens, and the one at Normandale is one of the smallest and simplest ones. The garden seems to be around two acres (my guess)...More

Wish it were larger but yet a nice little place to visit! It was a short little path with some of the Japanese features. The Water fall wasn't on but yet a nice place for a quiet walk!

The garden is beautiful. Period. There are lots of places to sit quietly, take photos and just sit and be still. It can be very busy on some days and perfectly still on others. If you can get there, please do. You won’t be disappointed!

The Normandale Garden is small but traditional Japanese and very nicely laid out, with benches to sit and wonderful gardening.
