This is a great complex. Be prepared to walk as it covers a lot of territory. The staff that run the Target USA Cup are great! From referees to drivers to medical support.

The Schwan's Super Rink in Blaine is the most organized and busiest arena complex we have been to. State owned and operated? Blaine is well situated for big tournaments.

Our children regularly play at soccer tournaments (Spring, Fall & USA Cup) thoughout the year here, and consider it the highlight of their sports season. They love playing against teams from across the country & world, but for parents it can be a bit stressful. There are a number of things we we wish we knew earlier. Here they are:
Traffic can be an issue at larger events. If approaching from the south on Hwy 65 (Central Ave) use your map app and turn early. 35W can be faster.
The complex is HUGE with several parking lots. Be sure to download the field map and plan the best place to park per your schedule. We typically choose a central lot and leave the car for the day.
There is a concession stand inside the ice arena, but lines can be long, and it is, of course, a concession stand. If more robust food is needed, the big tournaments such as the USA cup have had more and more onsite food trucks. We love that there is a large shopping area within walking distance of the fields with alternate food options including grocery /deli as well as sandwich shops and several mid range restaurants that are great for team lunches/dinners. Sports supply stores are also nearby in case something is forgotten or broken during the smaller events.
There are some small areas with trees/shade along the field perimeter where one can have a picnic.

Was here for Soccer USA Cup, 1,100+ teams but parking was still pretty easy and everything flowed. Yes, traffic became congested at times getting in and out but not much and with that many people, that is expected. Large number of fields to play large number of games at the same time.

Was there for a lacrosse tourney. It was all great, but honestly they could setup some water stations!

Geanddaughter played in a tournament here. Amazing place. Eight rinks as well as soccer fields, velodrome, etc. Hockey tournaments for all ages. Teams from all over the US and Canada come here. Believed to be the largest amatuer sports facility in the US. Great to attend games here. Have been to many over the past 5 years or so.

My kids have played in both soccer and hockey tournaments and the facilities are excellent. The staff go out of their way to help with any issues and they are surrounded by restaurants and stores. While the fields are beat up an employee recently told me they have put a plan in place to increase the quality.

We always make USA Cup which is their flagship event. With teams from all over the country and the world (2018 has 20+ countries represented) we love the diversity, opening ceremonies and all the festivities.

Also had the opportunity to play Victory Links which is the only public PGA designed course in the state and its a beautiful course that is well maintained.

My kids have played soccer at this complex for years. The fields themselves are well maintained. There is space for lots of parents to fit around each field and watch their own kiddos. My only complaint is that it is not super easy to locate a specific field. The signs are not very direct, so one might walk around for a bit asking other people which field is which until getting settled. Parking is adequate most of the time.

Our family held an 80th birthday party here with over 100 people. The banquet hall was huge with plenty of room for multiple tables but still room to walk around and talk with everyone. The staff was incredible; explained prices and catering extremely well and followed through with everything they said they would do. The food was excellent and plenty of it. Our guests all complimented us on the food and how much they enjoyed the venue. If you need a large banquet hall, this is the place!
