Victory Links is my go to in Blaine. Depending on the tee boxes it can be hard/Long or easy/short and it always in good shape.

Very challenging course in an old rock quarry designed by Tom Lehman. Bring lots of golf balls. Staff was very friendly and enforce pace of play. Breakfast burritos were very good.

Condition wise it was 4 out of 5
Setting is 5 of 5
Adversity of play 5 of 5

Nice course tucked into industrial, city, and bordering the airport in Blaine but you would never know it. They do a great job of making you feel secluded to the course despite the backdrop reminders.

Small club house
Great outside food options
No GPS carts and they could use more distance markers

Close between average and poor.
Best thing you can say imho is that course has a unique putting green laid out with one hole following another.
Course itself is pretty boring. I've paid "links" courses in Ireland, Scotland and the US and this isn't a true links.
It features many carries over marshes and a few ponds.
Greens were lush but quite slow on Sunday afternoon in May.
There was a ranger but I'm not sure what he did - it took us 5 hours to play. There were some players one group ahead of us that were not ready for this course (and the course is not all that difficult).

We've had our tournament there the last 5 years. Great staff and a fantastic course! Not sure how they do it, but the weather was great every tourney!

I have played this course for more than 5 years and always like it. The course is well maintained, the fairway is soft and the green rolls nicely. Walking from one hole to the next one can be long especially from the driving range to the first hold, hole 10 to 11 and 17 to 18.
The course also has great deals for playing with kids after 6 pm on Friday and weekend.

Best in the north metro if you like a links style course and my favorite place to play. It gets nicer every year, they take great care of it. A wide variety of challenges from snaking fairways several water hazards, grass and sand bunkers.

A total of 8 of us golfed here in Sept; varying abilities from a 2 hdcp to a beginner. There are tees for everyone so it made it so fun for everyone.
the course is laid out great, those of us who were the 2 to 18 hdcps had a great time with some side games and the others who were higher hdcp to beginner had a blast as well.
Several of us with the lower hdcps have golfed here before but we all agreed we will ALL be back again to do this more often as our group.

This 18-hole golf course located near the National Sports Center in Blaine, MN provides a challenge to all levels of golfers. The holes are laid out with a variety of looks that require some planning and accurate ball striking. Many of the fairways are bordered by tall dense swamp-like grass that penalize wayward shots. There are a few water hazards and a lot of bunkers. Some of the tee boxes are located quite a distance from the previous green, so I would recommend using a cart unless you are young and overflowing with energy. The cart girls are pretty and personable.

We enjoyed the atmosphere of the employees. The course was in good shape. Moved along without hold ups.
