Very sad place for animals
Aug 2021 • Family
Animals in very small confined spaces, extremely sad. The bears are over fed and overweight, and in a very small space, same for the lions. One deer had its intestines coming out of its anus.

Something to do for the family
Jun 2021 • Family
This is a small zoo but fun to be close to the deer and feed them. Good for families. Plan on about an hour or so. A bit overpriced for what it is but it is a nice family run business.

We love it
Jun 2021 • Family
This place is a family tradition. So much work and effort has been put into maintenance and quality. The animals are all so tame and yes well fed. You can obviously see they’re cared for. The fact of the matter is, their housing is more than sufficient and they’re more of a small scale family zoo- it’s our favorite. People complain about everything, but if you visit it’s a great time and they work hard to make sure they present the best animals to you. They’re kind and knowledgeable owners!

poor animals :(

the bear was in a confined concrete space with no shade, most animals there had small spaces, only the deer seemed to have open spaces. very disappointed.

Poor animal care
Jun 2019 • Family
If you want to see sad animals on concrete slabs and a plastic dog house for shelter- then this is the place for you. The poor porcupine literally hid behind his plastic house to get shade because there was nothing else in his concrete enclosure. Also, as I left, there was a car parked in the sun with a dog in it (it’s 84* today). I went inside to find the owner of the dog (or report it) ...... it was the Owner/staff of Animal Land’s dog! All around poor animal keepers. Vote with your dollars and do NOT support this place. I regret it.

The deer will come right up to you for food and hugs!
Aug 2018 • Family
So, I’m not a veterinarian but I do hope these animals are being fed outside of the snacks we gave them. Many animals were sleeping, but we did come on a warm, early afternoon. Lots of different animals to see, and bags of food to buy for feeding the animals. The deer really do come right up to you for food, and they let you pet them. Staff was reasonably friendly and knowledgeable when we asked questions about the animals.

Great little zoo for a 1-2 hour excursion

Make sure you purchase food to feed the animals and have some quarters handy to buy food from the vending machines. Animals looked healthy and all well taken care of. Many of the deer were tame and would eat out of your hand.

Very unfriendly staff. Animals barely ate the food we bought. Large tiger and wolves look sickly. Sad!

Kids loved it!
Jun 2018 • Family
We had a great time with the young kids. They loved being able to feed the animals and the deer especially. It’s a quiet little zoo. Nothing to big but perfect for children under 10.
