The Sculpture Walk is a wonderful way to spotlight the beautiful town of Bemidji! Peaces are very creative and many are historically symbolic as well.

Born in Bemidji, it is really a small town with a short summer tourist season. The sculpture walk adds much to their downtown which is starving for great restaurants and unique shops. It is a short walk of mixed media art, but really makes the...More

As we strolled around Lake Bemidji and downtown, we encountered many metallic sculptures. Some of the re-purposed metal parts were put to great use. We are not sure if we saw every sculpture as there was not a definitive guide to follow. I think the...More

Bemidji has such an abundance of wonderful artists and the Sculpture Walk offers a birds eye view of the various types of talented people who live there. We are especially proud of Niimi, as he was created by my husband's wife, Wanda Reise Odegard.

Fun to see all the different sculptures, but they’re are a bit far apart for young kids to walk. We enjoyed hunting them out as we drive through town

There are many sculptures near the ice and downtown. Some are historic while others are modern, many with a Native American influence. The collection rivals many large cities!

The sculptures are located around the city and are of varied types. Too bad we did not have a map though. My grandsons loved the octopus sculpture the very best. These works of art add character to the city.

This statue of a dancing Indian is done with great expression and detail. It is a very welcome creation considering the 11 tribes and recognizing them.
