I have camped at at least 12 state parks in Minnesota as well as another dozen in state forests and the campground at Glendalough is one of the best. Don’t let the fact that it is a “cart-in” campground scare you away. The carts are...More

We love to take a ride on the bike trail, then have a picnic lunch, and hang out at the beach for the afternoon.

This park is a great way to have family fun. You can rent bikes and serreys. The trail around the park is 6 miles. You can bike the trail to Battle Lake. It is approximately 12 miles round trip. They also have bikes for kids.

Great for all ages. Offers a good variety of activities. They have hiking, beaches, swimming, picnic area, canoeing, kayaking, and motor free fishing. They also rent boats and such.

We visited the park while fishing in Molly Stark lake which is within the park. We didn't do so great fishing but the amenities of the park are excellent with primitive camping, cabins, fishing pier and the like in a great setting.

Not busy. Nice paved or grassy walking paths. We saw about ten different deer during one of our morning walks. Great diversion with young kids.

Would 100% rent a kayak again for the 4 hours. It was reasonably priced and gives you a whole new perspective to the park. You can travel to all the lakes by way of the rivers. Luckily we got a day when it was 85...More

We were so excited to get to the park and find out they had bike rental. We rode around the lake, on an excellent path, with dragon flies swirling around us in the June afternoon we were there. There wasn't too many hills so that...More
