Such a well done preservation of many civil war artifacts! This home is so lovely and it does feel like going back in time. Lots of special events, school tours, etc. continue. It is a. Wonderful place!

On rainy Memorial Day, we visited this museum and were not only educated but entertained. Truly an extraordinary collection of memorabilia, furniture, furnishings, Civil War and otherwise. Well worth a visit.

I am not really a museum fan and yet had a great experience at the Prospect House. Jay Johnson who runs the museum is so interesting to listen to with first hand family stories and artifacts that have been in his family for many years....More

You have to go through it to believe it - it's 100+ years of history all in one little house - complete with pictures, letters, and a basement full of civil war items.
