Very interesting, the House was very old but kept up well. Oldest house in Battle Lake. Civil war memorabilia. And artifacts. Wasn’t expecting for them to have all that stuff from the Civil War in Minnesota. History buffs will want to check it out! Thanks

On rainy Memorial Day, we visited this museum and were not only educated but entertained. Truly an extraordinary collection of memorabilia, furniture, furnishings, Civil War and otherwise. Well worth a visit.

This building has been a rooming house, resort hotel, a home and now functions as a museum, providing a look at memorabilia from those past years as well as an amazing Civil War collection in the basement with many items belonging to the original builder...More
