The park is nice and clean. My only frustration was with the concession stand. There were not many offerings - everything was sold out or otherwise not available. If outside food and drink is not allowed, there should be more than Diet Pepsi, hot dogs and chips available. Prices were reasonable on the few items that were available.

I’ve lived near this park for my entire life. We used to enjoy going to the water park, but now it seems like a zoo (maybe I’ve just outgrown it). That being said, the rest of the park is BEAUTIFUL. You can take a walk with your dog, play frisbee golf, snowshoe, etc. I enjoy going there all year long!

The watermark itself is wonderful for kids and youth. However, caregivers like grandparents and disabled adults who are unable to enjoy the facility but want to go to supervise the kids or just be part of the family have to pay full price like those who swim and get in the water. It is also unfair to families who are on a budget and want to bring in bottled water and sandwiches to save the exorbitant prices of on site food vendors.

This place is DISGUSTING. My family and I wanted to enjoy a hot day at the water park only to have it ruined by disgusting people and inconsiderate employees. We had went in the wave pool and saw a lady with LARGE sores all over her body that were bleeding. We saw her physically picking her scabs off. The place was packed and she was surrounded by so many people. After ONLY being there for 30 minutes, we quickly drove home to shower. After we got home, I had called and spoke to a few staff members and finally reached a supervisor, they had told me that someone had already notified them of the lady with the sores and that they had asked her if they were contagious. I had called again the next day to talk to another supervisor to see if they could offer a refund or voucher of some sort and they pretty much accused me of making it up even though I was told the day before that one of their employees had addressed the woman. I had a horrible experience here and it is totally unsanitary.

Please be aware that if you are hoping to have dinner at the waterpark, concessions does not close 1 hour before park closing time, but closer to 1.5 hours. There is NO mention of this anywhere on the website or FB page. We got in line at 5:43 and were told they had already capped the line, and we wouldn't be able to eat. When we complained a manager then told us the grill was ALREADY closed so we could 'this one time' stay in line for only foods like chips or soft drinks. So even if we had gotten in line at 5:30 the grill would've already been closed by the time we reached the 1 open window. When we then discussed this with the park supervisor, he argued with us instead of listening to us. This is a matter of bad choices (why only 1 window open at dinner rush? why close the grill so early?), bad communication and horrible customer service. If you choose to close your concessions this early it needs to be well communicated. There is no excuse for the way the supervisor handled the situation. We won't be returning.
Also, we initially went on Sunday June 30th, waited in car 30 minutes to be finally told when we got to the entrance that the waterpark was already at full capacity. All in all we wasted 1.5 hours to not go to the waterpark with a car full of hot and unhappy kids. Worse yet, about halfway through the line there were employees 'directing traffic' that had no idea about the waterpark being full. They could have saved us and everyone else in line a lot of waiting for no reason. Communication is a big problem at Rolling Hills

First you have to pay to enter the park, if you don't have a Washtenaw Season Park sticker. Sometimes it is at capacity and you cannot even get in after driving there and paying to get into the park If not from Waashtenaw County it cost about $4 per person. Once inside it is often too crowded in one wave pool. They let people hoard tubes who are not using them in wave pool, so there is not enough tubes to go around for people in wave pool. Lazy River is rather nice but slides usually have very long lines. The concession stand has good food they cook on a grill.

This place is great! Took my 3 and 4 year olds and figured even after some of the reviews I had read, we had nothing to lose. So glad we made the trip. There is so much to do that it was easy to keep the kids busy all day. They loved the wave pool, water slides and the kids play area! There really is something for all ages.
A few tips-
1) Pack a cooler. They do not allow food or drinks inside (water is the only exception). The concession prices are reasonable, however the line is not. While you cannot bring your cooler in, it's an easy walk out to the car (make sure you get your hand stamped) and they offer several picnic tables or you could spread a blanket out for a picnic style lunch in the many shaded grassy areas.
2) Take your own life jackets/puddle jumpers. Unlike some other waterparks, they are allowed and I would highly recommend them...especially for the wave pool!
3) Bring a beach blanket. Inside the water park, they offer chairs however I found a blanket in the shade was a great "camp" to get out of the sun and take a few minutes to recharge.
4) There is a large sand area - take your own sand toys as there wasn't anything provided! Sand was pretty hot and there were biting flys so if that's someplace you'll spend significant time, consider bug spray on your feet!
Overall, a great day trip! We will definitely be repeat visitors!

Our church had it's annual picnic here 2 years in a row. The pavilion area was well maintained. Parking is very reasonable.Everyone had a great time. They have large grills and large trash cans. The water park is right there also it is a separate fee but also very reasonable especially for Washtenaw county residents. All a great place for families and large functions.

This place is fantastic! Here's a few tips right of the get go. Bring a blanket, towels, lawn chairs and a cooler with water. That'll cover all the rental fees and provide you with shade and keep you hydrated.
They actually have concessions here and they're not badly priced at all. You can bring a cooler with only water into the park but you can have a cooler with a packed lunch if you like to go that route and leave it in the car. They're are shaded picnic benches around the parking lot and you can get your hand stamped for re-entry.
The park has three large slides for teens and a nice size wave pool along with a nice splash pad and playground with various water activities on it a wading pool and very nice size sand box also. Of course nice bathroom facilities and the only downside is limited shade trees to place your lawn chairs and blankets under. Arrived early and get a shade spot park opens at 10:45 and if your not first in line shade will be hard to come by.
All of my children had a fabulous time. This is the best value outdoor waterpark in all of Michigan in my opinion. Actually it's prolly the best value water park I've been to in the entire nation.
The cost is very cheap especially compared to the size of the park and the number of activities available!
Anyway check out some of the video reviews on YouTube too.
Enjoy your experience and if you have any questions just ask :)

The greatest thing about this place is the price! Very reasonable for a waterpark. I've been taking my kids here for years. When they were toddlers there were many things they were too small for, but there is a water play structure and a wading pool. From 6-10 is probably the best age. I have teens, and although they still enjoy the park, they get bored after a short amount of time. The water slides are too small for them to enjoy, but they still like the wave pool and sunbathing. Go during the day and avoid weekends if you can. It gets too crowded and a seedier group comes in at times. They don't let you bring food in the park, you have to leave to eat it outside at picnic tables. That part is annoying but of course they want you to buy food. The food is pretty good though, but mostly just hot dogs, burgers and junk food. This place is good for a day trip!
