Depot town is an historic area in Ypsilanti near the railroad tracks. There are lots of cute little shops and restaurants that serve delicious food. During the summer there is also a very nice farmers market. Definitely check out Depot Town when you are in Ypsi!

There is a great amalgam of restaurants in Depot Town. Sidetracks stands tall on the southeast corner with Frenchies attached. It is a great bistro that serves top of the heap burgers. Across the street is toe original Aubries, now a chain per se. serving their special pizza. New to the mix is Maiz a transplanted neuvo-Mexican restaurant. Hidden in... More

Great people. Nice bikes, Not too loud. I enjoy traveling here just about every week. I usually will ride down with a few other riders. It is about a 30-45 minute ride. Stay clear of Maiz Mexican Cantina. Eat at Sticks or Aubree's Pizza.

If in the area, it is well worth giving a few hours to come through Depot Town. In addition to quite a few restaurants (some with outdoor seating), there were a few historical gems in the area. The actual train depot, automotive museum, and a Civil War barracks, all within a small area which can easily be explored on foot.... More

My son loves watching the trains race through town. There are lots of activities at the riverfront, cool shops, great eateries and the Hudson Museum. Definitely a fun place.

A couple of great resturants can be found here and a nice auto museum, the river front park is very nice and has a nice walkway/deck.

I love depot town. There is quite a bit to do. There are a variety of local, friendly eateries to satisfy all taste buds. Frog Island park is nearby and is fun for running, walking, playing soccer or rugby; at times in the summer there are cultural and musical events. Parades often go through Depot town for Memorial Day, Independence... More
