Tipsy Ypsi Paint and Pour offers you the most creative night on the town you have ever experienced! Grab a drink and a brush and follow along as our gifted instructors walk you, step-by-step, through replicating that day’s featured painting. Events run for approximately 2-3 hours with FREQUENT sip breaks. You will leave with a painting that is uniquely yours, and you’ll be amazed at the art you can bring to life. We are NOT a franchise/chain, we do things Detroit style. Support your local artists!

GOOD
Miguel did a great job explaining how to paint and kept things rolling with great stories and trivia questions. I have gone to a painting place in Ann Arbor 4x that has since closed so I came here with my niece and I enjoyed Tipsy Ypsi more because of Miguel's stories and quick wit. We had a great time and were satisfied with our resulting paintings.
We were 2 of about 18 people, mom's with their child, sisters, dates, and a bday party group. Everyone did a good job painting and seemed to have a great time. This is BYO drink and snacks and most everyone did.
Everyone got their own canvas, plenty of paint, 3 brushes to use, background music to keep things lively.
BAD
It is located in downtown Ypsilanti. I felt comfortable walking in from the free parking next door during the day but Tipsy Ypsi should have people walk in and out as a group at night.
UGLY - I can't think of anything!
Since everyone had something to drink, Miguel warned us NOT to accidentally drink the paint water (used to rinse the paint brushes) LOL. That would be ugly!

I had an amazingly fun time at the 7-9 pm painting with Miguel! He was funny, a good teacher and more than willing to help you fix any “mistake” that you’ve made. Time really flew by while we were painting. The space was also nicely decorated, there was complimentary water and plenty of breaks. All in all I would very highly recommend!

Super fun host (Miguel) and activity. We learned a lot of great techniques, too!

This was my first time ever going to one of these! I went with my sister and mother for a belated Mother’s Day activity. It was a small group. Miguel was an entertaining and informative instructor. He taught the techniques of the trade, told fun stories, and we played trivia (which I won!).
I will definitely be going back!!!
