We arrived here only 40 minutes before closing time and managed to see it all. Some of the crystal and rocks in here are huge and quite fascinating, the colours and patterns are amazing. Lots of information but looking a bit dusty and dated in places.

A really nice, relaxing and enjoyable way to spend an hour. Lovely, welcoming staff and gorgeous stuff in the gift shop.

a very well laid out interesting museum. the exhibits are well detailed and on show.the cost of entry was only £5 per adult which was very reasonable.as usual the shop was the last place to visit but it was well stocked with gifts from high to reasonable prices.would recommend this museum for the well documented stories of the different crystals... Some lovely and interesting pieces on display and worth paying a visit however, it is quite small inside and we found 45 minutes generous time including the gift shop. Shop prices were not cheap but staff friendly and knowledgeable.

An interesting place to visit once on the way to glenfinnan viaduct while you're there. £5 might not be great value for money if you consider the size of the place but there is still some really nice things to see. The staff is very helpful, friendly outgoing and smiling - I felt really welcomed there. Also, the gift shop... More

Not very big and you wouldn't spend more than 30 minutes/1 hour here so not suitable for a full day trip. Has about 6 fossils but has 1 and 1/2 floors of interesting gems/stones/metals. Centered around the gift shop though. Staff are nice and well informed. Take a right next to the co-op across the road and you can then... More

Amazing displays of precious and semiprecious stones, au naturel. Enormous natural emerald. Some of the pieces of stones are over 6 foot tall. Lots of interesting things in the gift shop. Takes about an hour or so to get round.

We went to visit Treasures of the Earth as part of our trip to Fort William. My husband uses a mobility scooter and he was made very welcome, he could move around very well and saw everything on the ground floor. The crystals are truly lovely, the Fossils very interesting. I was not sure at first as what it would... More
