First course we found open this year and warmest day since November so as a new semi retiree the wife and I had to get out and play. Yea the course is pretty much wide open and flat without tall trees,( evergreens here and there)but the greens were probably the best I’ve seen this early in the year. Plenty of ponds to avoid and sand traps here and there.
Not the longest or most challenging but even without bent grass fairways pretty darn good condition. Wierd thing is we could not find the ladies tees. ( no tee markers out yet)

Of course the course was packed but got done in 3.5 hours with a steady pace. The website said $20 but when the wife said yes we are over 55 it was only $28 for the two of us for 18 with cart! Can’t remember the last time we got such a deal!

This hidden gem is a paradise for both new and experienced golfers. Situated just west of Lake Michigan, the layout is challenging yet rewarding, and features lush green fairways and true rolling greens.

Took a lesson here with a group of ladies and then played 9. Very friendly staff, the lesson was good. The course was well-kept, especially considering how much rain we had had.

We had a tee-time today for four, we played a scramble, they set off seven threesomes behind us who complained that we were playing slow. However, the GPS on our cart said we were eight minutes ahead and by the end of our 18th hole we were 27 minutes ahead according to their carts and we were counseled by the Ranger and the people behind us were hitting into us. Why would you put seven threesomes behind a foursome horrible course management the people behind the counter were rude and the Ranger was extremely rude. That is not what I payed $188.00 for. A group of old guys hitting into us, just a horrible experience. By the way. We finished out 18 holes in 3:40 minutes in my 30+ years of playing golf that’s not slow. The corse was pretty and well maintained but their customer service sucked.

Pigeon Creek Golf Course if fairly wide open. Some narrow fairways, a lot of water, and some bunkers. The rough was short but very thick and hard to get out of.

Played Pigeon Creek Golf Course on a beautiful day. There is water on many of the holes and some sand bunkers. The course was in very nice condition and a fun course to play. A par-71 course with 4 sets of tees of 6532, 6126, 5254 and 4925-yards.
