I normally rave about this place but am very disappointed with my experience yesterday. Nobody told us that only 16 holes are open and that #13 and #16 have each been split ino 2 temporary holes. In addition, the price is $5 higher than last year for seniors. You could have told me when I booked, could have mentioned it when we checked in and certainly could have signs on the course alerting us to the construction and temporary holes. Deceiving people never turns out well for the folks doing the deceiving.

I love this place. There is something for everyone. It is not open all year round but the months that it is open there are many things to do.

I tried to go to the driving range to practice and I was disappointed almost every time. They never posted an official working hours so you have to try your luck. Many times I went there before their "hidden" closing hour and it was closed without any notice posted. The range ball machine only took cash for past years and I do not understand why is that. The range is poorly managed. The yardage flags are laying down on the ground the most of times. The green area only can practice chipping. Not putt-able. To spend the same amount of money, you better to avoid this driving range.

The combination tray is always a hit with parents and children. Make sure you get a side of the house ranch, it goes great with everything on the tray.

Before you get excited, you need to be a member to eat at this delightful restaurant, or to know a member intimately enough for him to take you there. Now that we've settled this issue, let's eat. We were taken to this fabulous restaurant by friends who are members/founders of the club. The setting and the grounds of the club are beautiful. The restaurant itself is comfortable, beautifully decorated, and has excellent courteous and friendly staff. We started off with a trio of Hummous, Babaganoush and Tabouleh.....Wonderful. In addition, we shared a platter of quail which were lovely as well. For the main course we shared a HUGE Lake Superior White Fish which was served open with delicious sauce - Divine!! The side dishes were also fantastic and complemented the fish perfectly Absolutely Wonderful Dinner!!.
